Criteria of Eligibility:-
(1)Senior Residents:-
(a) Qualification: (i) Post Graduate Degree. (ii) Diploma/two years experiencequalification. (b) Registration: The Candidates should be registered with Delhi Medical
Council (c) Age Limit: Vide circular no 121/26/2010/H&FW/DSHFW/1996-2045 dated
10.06.2011 issued by the Deputy Secretary(H&FW), Health & Family Welfare Department,
Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Age Limit as on closing date for the submission of application i.e.
05.09.13 - UR/General-40, OBC-43 years, SC/ST-45 years (The OBC certificate must have
been issued by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi). (d) Fees Payable: Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- for
OBC candidates in favour of “Medical Superintendent” G.T.B Hospital, will have to be
annexed with the application, as application fee. (Application fee is non-refundable). The
Demand Draft should be issued on or after the date of publication of advertisement. *No
application fee will be charged from SC/ST/PH Candidates.(e) Admissible Emoluments: Pay
Band Rs. 15600-39100/- plus Grade pay Rs. 6600/- and other allowances as admissible
under rules.(f)Tenure: SRs are appointed for maximum period of 3 years. However, initial
appointment is made for 1 year extendable upto 03 years with annual extension on the
basis of satisfactory performance and ACR/conduct report.
(2)Junior Residents (MBBS)
(a) Qualification: MBBS Degree from a recognized university. (b) Candidates who have
completed internship earlier than 05.09.2011 are not eligible for applying for these
posts.(c) Registration: The Candidates should be registered with Delhi Medical Council. (d)
Age Limit: Vide circular no 121/26/2010/H&FW/DSHFW/1996-2045 dated 10.06.11
issued by the Deputy Secretary (H&FW), Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. of
NCT of Delhi. Age Limit as on closing date for the submission of application i.e.
