Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 Plus Grade Pay Rs.4800/-

Educational Requirements: (i) Private Secretaries with two years of regular service in the grade of Rs.6500-200-10500/- revised to Rs. 7500-250-12000/- (Revised PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800/- Plus grade Pay Rs. 4800/-) in Central Government/State Government/High Courts; (ii) Court Master/Stenographer Grade ‘C’ with at least eight years regular service in the grade of Rs.5500-175-9000/- (Revised PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- or persons holding analogous post in the grade of Rs.5500-175-9000/- (Revised PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- with at least 8 years regular service and possessing a speed of 120 w.p.m. in shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in typewriting (English) in Central Government/State Government/High Courts.

Eligibility Criteria:-
(i) Persons holding analogous posts on regular basis in Central/State Govt./High Courts and
Subordinate Court thereto and possessing qualification and experience as under (iv)
below.
OR
(ii) Persons holding post in the scale of Rs. 6500-10500 (Revised to PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800/-
with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-) with 3 yrs. regular service in the grade or equivalent in the
Central/State Govt./High Courts and Subordinate Court thereto and possessing
qualification and experience as under (iv) below.
OR
(iii) Persons having eight years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on
regular basis in the post in the scale of pay of Rs. 5500-9000/- (Revised to PB-2
Rs. . 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-) or equivalent in the Central/State
Govt./High Courts and Subordinate Court thereto and possessing qualification and
experience as under (iv) below.
(iv) Qualification :-
Essential :- Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi with
English as a subject at degree level or Master’s degree of a recognized University or
equivalent in English with Hindi as a subject at degree level or Master’s Degree of a
recognized University or equivalent in any subject with Hindi and English as subjects at
degree level or Master’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject
in Hindi medium with English as a subject at the degree level or Master’s Degree of a
recognized University or equivalent in any subject in English medium with Hindi as
subjects at the degree level.
Experience :- Five years experience of using/applying terminology (terminological
work) in Hindi and translation work from English to Hindi or vice versa, preferably of
technical or scientific literature; or five years experience of teaching in Hindi and English
or research in Hindi or English.
Desirable :-
(i) Knowledge at the level of matriculation of a recognized Board or equivalent of
one of the languages other than Hindi mentioned in the Eighth Schedule to the
Constitution.
(ii) Degree or Diploma in translation in Hindi to English and vice versa from any
recognized University or equivalent.
