1. Applications are invited from eligible male candidates for direct recruitment of Constable (Band)
in Railway Protection Force (RPF).
2. Vacancies:- Total number of assessed vacancies is 18. The category-wise break-up is ST-1, SC-3,
OBC-5 and UR-9.
NOTE: 1) The above mentioned vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease or even
become nil depending upon the requirement of the Railway Administration. The Administration
also reserves the right to cancel the notified vacancies at its discretion and such decision will be
binding on all concerned. In the event of cancellation of notified vacancies, the examination fee will
not be refunded.
2) The selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India and may be allotted any Zonal
Railways/Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) after selection.
3) 10% vacancies are reserved for eligible ex-servicemen.
