How To Apply: One recent passport size photograph (not more then three months old) with applicant’s name and signature under the photo as per sample given on the website should be scanned and uploaded in the space provided in the application format. The candidate should scan his photo & signature which has been put on white paper with Black/ Blue pen. The candidates must ensure that the uploaded photograph & signature are proper i.e. clearly identifiable/ visible, application having poor quality photo or signature are liable to be rejected. The photo should not be more then 100Kb. The candidates should paste the same photograph (clearly legible ) duly attested by a Gazetted officer, on the hard copy of application as scanned / uploaded at the time up of online application.

APPLICATION FEE: Candidates must send examination fees in the form of Bank draft/ crossed Indian postal order (not to be purchased before the date of publication of advertisement i.e. it should be within the closing for the submission of online application) of Rs.50/- in favour of The General Manager, Ordnance Clothing Factory, Shahjahanpur. (U.P.). The application fee is not refundable.
4. 5. LAST DATE:
a. The last date for filling online application form will be within 21st days from the opening of website of online applications..
b. Last date of receipt of print out of filled in/hard copy of application form along with necessary Draft/IPO at OCF Shahjahanpur will be within 21st days (till 1700Hrs) from the closing date of website/last date of submission of application through online..
6. FEE EXEMPTION: No fee for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM.
7. CRUCIAL DATE : The crucial date for determining the age limit, education qualification & experience etc. shall be the last date of submission of on-line application i e closing date of filling up of online application form.
8. EXAMINATION DATE & ADMIT CARD: For Examination date and details about downloading of admit card, the candidate must visit this website (http://ocfs.gov.in) again after 30 days of last date of submission of online applications.
9. MODE OF SELECTION, SCHEME & SYLLABUS :-
(A) For all the Posts i.e Tailor-SS, Fitter Gen. Mech.-SS, Electrician-SS,
Millwright-SS, Fitter Electronic-SS & Labour-SS
a. The Selection process shall comprise of Written Test of 100 Marks and Trade Test (Practical). The Trade Test (Practical) shall be only qualifying in nature, without any marks
b. Written Test Shall be fully objective type.
c. The syllabus of the Written Test for a Trade will be broadly as that of NCTVT examination Syllabus for that Trade. The syllabus of the trade test (Practical) will be as per the Trade Test Specification of the Semi-Skilled grade of the relevant trade (Details available below this page.)
d. On the basis of merit list based on marks obtained in written test, candidates 1.25 times the number of vacancies shall be called for Trade Test (Practical).
e. The final select list shall be based on marks in the written test only, the Trade test (Practical) being qualifying nature. The final select list would be displayed on the website and at the notice board at the main gate of the factory.
*** Note: In the selection process of Tradesman i.e. Tailor-SS, Fitter Gen. Mech.-SS, Electrician-SS, Millwright-SS & Fitter Electronic-SS, other things being equal i.e. marks being equal, trained Ex-Trade Apprentices of Ordnance Clothing Factory, Shahjahanpur and sister Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories shall be given first preference as per rule.
