Educational Requirements: 1. Must have passed matriculation or equivalent. 2. Must be physically fit for the duties of Durwan as per specified standard indicated below:- (a) Height without shoes 165 cms. (b) Chest – Unexpanded 77 cms Expanded 82 cms. (c) Weight 45 kgs.
Qualifications: (i) Ex-servicemen (ii) Matriculation (iii) Three years service as Home Guard//Civil Defence Volunteer and training in at least basic and refresher courses in Home Guard and Civil Defence.

How To Apply: One recent passport size photograph (not more then three months old) with applicant’s name and signature under the photo as per sample given on the website should be scanned and uploaded in the space provided in the application format. The candidate should scan his photo & signature which has been put on white paper with Black/ Blue pen. The candidates must ensure that the uploaded photograph & signature are proper i.e. clearly identifiable/ visible, application having poor quality photo or signature are liable to be rejected. The photo should not be more then 100Kb. The candidates should paste the same photograph (clearly legible ) duly attested by a Gazetted officer, on the hard copy of application as scanned / uploaded at the time up of online application.

  • Mere fulfilling the minimum prescribed qualification and experience will not vest any right upon the candidate for being called for the test. The factory will not entertain correspondence in this respect and interim enquiry will not be attended to.
  • Person working in Central/State Govt. or PSU must produce ‘No objection certificate’ in original from his/her employer. If a person enters into Central/State Govt. or PSU service after the date of application, he/she must produce ‘NOC’ from his/her employer at the time of undergoing any of the further processes for recruitment/selection. In case of selection, such person will have to produce the ‘Release Order’ from his/her employer before joining the service at this factory.
  • It may be noted that all Central Government employees who are appointed in Government Service on or after 01.01.2004 will be governed by new “Defined Contribution Pension Scheme (Compulsory)” and the instructions issued in this regard by the Government from time to time.
  • Candidates appearing in written test will come on their own expense. However, for outstation SC/ST candidates, TA will be admissible as per Govt. rules and instructions on production of Bus/Train ticket. The reimbursement will be made for the second class railway fare or bus fare, chargeable by the shortest route from railway station/bus stand nearest to their normal place of residence or from which they actually performed the journey, whichever is nearer.
  • Only Competent Authorities should have issued SC/ST/OBC/PWD certificate, which must be in the prescribed format applicable for reservation in jobs under the Government of India. OBC candidates coming under non creamy layer should be in possession of the non-creamy layer certificate at the time of filling his application form.
  • The Physically Handicapped candidates should have minimum prescribed disability as per Central Government rule and fulfill the physical requirement and functional classification as mentioned for the post.
  • Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
  • If at any stage, a candidate is found to have used unfair means of any kind or submit false/incorrect/dubious information whatsoever in/during the examination/Test his candidature shall automatically stand cancelled even after selection.
  • The question paper of the written test will be bi-lingual ie Both Hindi and English.
In case of any difference/variation in interpretation between the English version and the Hindi version of the Advertisement, only the English version shall be considered as the original and authentic version of the advertisement. No claim/dispute in this regard shall be accepted.
