(ii) Post graduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-speciality or equivalent.
Experience Requirements: At least four years teaching/research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.).

Applications are invited by the Commission for the below mentioned posts. The last

2. Incomplete applications in any manner are liable to be rejected summarily by the
Commission.
3. “The upper age limit shown against each post is relaxable upto 5 years for the
candidates belonging to SC/ST, upto 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC, upto 5
years (total 10 years for SC/ST & 8 years for OBC in respect of posts reserved for them)
to blind, deaf-mute and orthopedically handicapped person and upto 5 years for CFF.
Age is also relaxable for Government Servants upto 5 years as per the instructions
issued by the Government from time to time”.
4. In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with the knowledge of Konkani, for
the posts in professional colleges, Consultants in Directorate of Health Services and
highly technical/scientific posts, this requirement can be relaxed.
5. The Commission will draw a panel of candidates, which will remain valid for a
period of one year.
6. Prescribed EQs are minimum & mere possession of same does not entitle the
candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received is large,
the Commission will short list the candidates to be called for interview.
I. GOA MEDICAL COLLEGE
1. Professor in Paediatric Surgery .……. 1 post
Scale of Pay: Rs. 37,400-67,000+8,700/- Age: Not exceeding 45 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential: (i) A recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second
Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the
Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). Holders of qualifications
included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in
sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of
1956). (ii) Post graduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-speciality or
equivalent. (iii) At least ten years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized
Medical College/Teaching Institution in the subject of super-speciality after obtaining
the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.).
(iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
NOTE: For candidate with Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae
(M.Ch.) degree of three years duration, experience required is at least nine years
after qualifying degree.
2. Associate Professors:
(i) Paediatric Surgery .……. 1 post

(M.Ch.) degree of three years duration, no experience is required.
4. Assistant Professor in Radiotherapy ……. 1 post (3rd time)

Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential: i) A recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second
Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the

Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post-graduate degree qualification in the
speciality concerned or equivalent (iii) At least 3 years teaching experience in the
concerned speciality as a lecturer or in an equivalent teaching post in a Medical
College/Teaching Institution after the requisite post-graduate degree qualification.
(iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Marathi.
5. Lecturer in Paediatric Surgery ……. 2 posts
Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600 /- Age: Not exceeding 45 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or the Second
Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the
Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the
Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the
Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post Graduate degree qualification in the
speciality concerned or equivalent. (iii) At least 3 years teaching experience in the
concerned speciality as Senior Resident/Registrar/ Tutor/Demonstrator in a Medical
College/Teaching Institution. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of
Marathi.
6. Physicist in Radiology Department .…1 post (2nd time)
Scale of pay: Rs.9,300-34,800+4,600/- Age: Not exceeding 42 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential: (i) Master’s degree in Physics/Nuclear Physics from a recognized
University or equivalent. (ii) Diploma in Radiological Physics OR 2 years practical
training and/or experience in X-Ray and Electronic equipment in X-Ray Department
or Laboratory. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Note 1: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the G.P.S.C. in case of
candidates otherwise well qualified.
II. DIRECTORATE OF HEALTH SERVICES
7. Senior Physician …… 2 posts
Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/- Age: Not exceeding 42 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second
Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the
Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956). Holders of educational
qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the
conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the said Indian Medical
Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post Graduate Degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in
speciality concerned. (iii) Work in a responsible position connected with the
speciality concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after
post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
8. Junior Consultants:
(i) Gynaecologist ..…. 1 post (resvd for CFF) (3rd time)
(ii) Physician ..…. 1 post
Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/- Age: Not exceeding 42 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second
Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the
Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956) Holders of educational qualifications
included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated
in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Postgraduate
degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned.
(iii) In case of Diploma holders, work in responsible position connected with the
speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of
Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
9. Assistant Pharmaceutical Chemist …… 1 post (resvd for PH) (2nd time)
Scale of Pay: Rs. 9,300-34,800+4,200/- Age: Not exceeding 42 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential: 1) Graduate in Pharmacy and a registered Pharmacist under the Pharmacy
Act, 1948 with 3 years experience: i) in a hospital pharmacy / Government Medical
Store in planning the requirements of drugs/medicines, monitoring the
distribution/consumption of drugs, manufacturing stock solutions and galenical
preparations; OR ii) in a pharmaceutical industry engaged in the manufacturing and
testing of drugs; OR iii) in a recognised testing laboratory under the Drugs and
Cosmetics Act, 1940, engaged in the testing of drugs; OR iv) in a Drugs Controller
Office engaged in dealing with problems connected with standard of drugs.
2) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge or Marathi.
III. INSTITUTE OF PSYCHIATRY AND HUMAN BEHAVIOUR
10. Clinical Psychologist …… 1 post

Educational & Other Qualifications:
Essential:- (i) Master’s Degree in Psychology from a recognized University or
equivalent. (ii) Master of Philosophy(Clinical Psychology) or Diploma in Medical and
Social Psychology (2 years course), from a recognized University/Institution or
equivalent. (iii) 2 years experience of teaching including Psychological testing and
counselling. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: i) Doctorate in the concerned
field from a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
IV. GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC, PANAJI
11. Lecturer in Instrumentation & Control ….. 1 post (resvd for ST) (2nd time)
Scale of pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Rs. 5,400/- Age: Not exceeding 42 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential Qualification: (i) 1st Class Master’s Degree in appropriate branch of
Engineering/Technology or 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate branch of
Engineering/Technology. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Note: For the above purpose “appropriate branch” means the branch in which the
post is to be filled up or such other branch where there is demonstrative evidence
of likeness of subject matter covered. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
V. DIRECTORATE OF AGRICULTURE
