Age Limit: Below 35 Years
1. ABBREVIATION: UR-Unreserved.
2. Age relaxation: As per GOI rules in accordance with Government of India (Central Government) from time to time
applicable to in-service candidates also. Crucial date of calculating the age will be date of notification. Age
relaxation will be applicable to ICMR employees as per rules. (Age relaxation will be allowed to the reserved
candidate for the posts earmarked under reserved quota only).
3. Those working in Central / State Govt. / public sector undertaking / Government funded organization etc., should submit
their applications THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL.
4. Pay & other allowances are as admissible as per ICMR Rules. Benefits of new restructured defined contributory pension
system are admissible as per the provision contained in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs (ECB & PR
Division), Notification No.5/7/2003-ECB & PR dated 22-12-2003 effective from 01-01-2004.
5. Candidates working (as on date of the notification) on Long Term projects in ICMR Institutes / Centres will be given “ONE
TIME” age relaxation.
7. Educational qualifications and experience should be from a recognized Board / Organization / Institute of repute. Experience
will count after acquiring the prescribed essential qualifications.
8. Separate application should be submitted for each post and each category.
9. Pay fixation to in-service candidates will be as per the ICMR/ GOI rules from time to time.
10. The Director of the Institute reserve the right to accept or reject the applications or to cancel the notification without
assigning any reasons thereof. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Test / Interview and no correspondence will be
entertained in this regard.
11. Any canvassing by or behalf of the candidates or to trying political or other outside influence with regard to selection / recruitment shall
be a disqualification.
