Pay Scale	PAY SCALE Rs. 15,600-39,100 PB-3 plus Rs. 6,600 Grade Pay Total emoluments excluding T.A. HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 38,184/-p.m. approximately
Age	AGE Not exceeding 45 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualificaiton (s)	A. EDUCATIONAL Post Graduate Degree in Town or City or Urban or Housing or Country or Rural or Infrastructure or Regional or Transport or Environmental Planning from a recognized University or Institute.  B. EXPERIENCE Five years’ experience in the field of Urban and Regional Planning or Development Control or Town Planning Laws or Geographic Information System in the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Universities or Recognised Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organisations.  Note-I The qualifications are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.  Note-II The qualification regarding
Desirable Qualificaiton (s)	Associate membership of the Institute of Town Planners, India
Duty(ies)	i To act as in-charge of various studies in connection with the Master Plan. ii Preparation of detailed site plans including designs. iii Preparation of development plans with special emphasis on redevelopment schemes. iv Preparation of civic design project.
Probation	One Year
Head Quarter	New Delhi with liability to serve any-where in India
Other Details	General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. The post is permanent.
Any Other Conditions	Touring will be involved within India.
