Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of a post of “Project Supervisor” on adhoc basis for the WHO funded Project entitled “Harms to others from Drinking: India country study” under Dr.N.Girish, Addl. Professor of Epidemiology Principal Investigator.

Educational Qualification - Postgraduates in Social Sciences (Social
Work/Sociology/Psychology/Economics or related) and experience in health research. An aptitude for undertaking door to door survey desirable.
Nature of work - Secondary data collection, Undertaking key informant
interviews and Focus group Interactions and Supervision and co-ordination of project related activities in different parts of Karnataka. Should be willing to travel.
Maximum Age Limit - 35 years (age relaxation will be given for suitable
candidates)
Emoluments - Rs.17,000/- (Consolidated) + Rs.3,000/- Travel allowance
Duration of the Project - 3 months Initial appointment will be made for a period of 3
months which will be extendable for 12 months depending upon the performance of the candidate.
