AWES Teacher Recruitment 2013 Exam for PRT ,TGT and PGT vacancies Online Application 7000 teachers : 

About AWES: Army Welfare Educational Society (AWES) announced Teachers Recruitment 2013. The Army Welfare Educational Society Recruitment Notification for 1000 PGT, TGT, PRT Teacher Posts in AWES Schools for 2013 released. Eligible candidates should apply ONLINE from 23rd Sep to 21st Oct. According to notification  approximately 7000 teachers on the rolls of the 133 Army Public Schools(APS) under AWES. Out of that, approximately 1000 get turned over every year. The Screening Exam will be conducted on 8th Dec 2013.

Educational Qualifications:

• PGT:  Post Graduation in the Concerned Subject +B.Ed (50% in Both)
• TGT: Graduation in the Concerned Subject +B.Ed (50% in Both)
• PRT: Graduation in the Concerned Subject +B.Ed (50% in Both)

Require Age: As on 01 April 2014:

(i) Fresh Candidates - Below 40 years, except for Delhi schools where TGT/PRT should be less than 29 years and PGT less than 35 years

(ii) Experienced Candidates- Below 57 years (Should have minimum 5 years teaching experience in the

Last 10 years)

Selection Procedure. 

Selection Process Will be done in two stages:-

(a) Stage 1. Screening Exam, conducted on the Second Sunday of every year, for vacancies that will arise during the ensuing academic year. This is conducted by HQ AWES centrally. In addition to fresh candidates, the following may also appear for the screening test:-

(i) Holders of Score Cards who want to improve their scores.

(ii) Those desirous of upgrading themselves. For E.g. a candidate holding score Card of TGT may now want to obtain a card for PGT, having acquired additional qualification.

(b) Stage II. Interview, Evaluation of Teaching skills and computer proficiency will be held under the aegis of HQ Commands for Schools under their jurisdiction. For Language teachers, written test comprising Essay/ Comprehension will be held along with evaluation of teaching skills.

• Admit Card  download Start : 25 Nov - 2103 
• Written Exam : 08 Dec 2013 
• Answer Key: 10 Dec 2013
• Result Date: - 5 Feb 2014
