Educational Requirements: 1. Masters’ degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade ‘B’ in UGC, & 7 point scale from a recognized University OR Institute 2. Holding analogous posts on regular basis OR 5 years regular service in the Grade Pay of Rs.4600

Experience Requirements: 10 years’ experience in accounts, audit, administration and establishment matters in a central government department or government of India undertaking.

How To Apply: Applications may be submitted in the prescribed proforma (in duplicate) by the eligible and interested Persons through proper channel to: Assistant Registrar, IIT Jodhpur, Old Residency Road, Near Ratanada Circle, Jodhpur 342005, Rajasthan, by 11 November 2013. The Forwarding Authority concerned may ensure dispatch of the ACPs/APARs of the Applicant(s) for the preceding 5 years along with Integrity and Vigilance Clearance Certificates and the Certificate of major/minor penalty imposed during the last 10 years. Also while forwarding the application, the Forward Authority may kindly certify that the particulars furnished by the person have been verified and found correct. This will help IIT Jodhpur fill the posts at the earliest.

General Instructions to Applicants
01 The Post carries retirement /terminal benefits as per Government. of India norms.
02 Besides Pay, the Post carries Allowances according to the rules of IIT Jodhpur, which at
present are at par with Central Government employees.
03 SC/ST and OBC applicants are required to attach the Caste Certificate, and Persons with
Disability (PWD) the Disability Certificate format prescribed by the Government of
India.
04 IIT Jodhpur may conduct Written Test and Interview for the Post, only those persons
who qualify the Written Test may be called for Interview.
05 Where number of applications received in response to this advertisement is large, it may
not be convenient / possible for IIT Jodhpur to conduct Written Test and Interview for
all the applicants. IIT Jodhpur may restrict the number of candidates to be called for
Written Test/Interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of additional performance and
experience that prescribed above. Therefore, applicants should furnish details of all the
qualifications and experience possessed in the relevant field, along with documentary
evidences.
06 IIT Jodhpur reserves the right to relax Age, Qualifications and/or experience in
exceptional cases.
07 The number of vacancies indicated in the notification is tentative. IIT Jodhpur reserves
the right to increase or decrease the number of advertised Posts at the time of selection.
Further, IIT Jodhpur reserves the right NOT to fill any of the Posts advertised.
08 Outstation candidates called for Written Test and Interview will be paid travel
cos ts up to rail fare by II AC through Cheque/on-line trans fer
(RTGS/NEFT) from the place of duty or residence to place of Written Test and
Interview and back by the shortest route.
09 Canvassing in any form/bringing in any influence political or otherwise will be treated
as a disqualification for the post. “INTERIM ENQUIRIES WILL NOT BE
ENTERTAINED”.
10 IIT Jodhpur shall verify the antecedents or documents submitted by applicants at the
time of appointment or during the tenure of the service. In case, it is detected that the
documents submitted by the persons are fake, the person has a clandestine
antecedents/background, or has suppressed the said information, then his/her services
shall be terminated.
