Essential Qualification for Sl. No. 1: (i) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. (a) Postgraduate
Diploma in Journalism / Public Relation or equivalent.
Essential Experience: Officers under the Central/State/U.T. Governments or Central Statutory/Autonomous
Bodies or Central Public Sector Undertakings holding analogous posts on regular basis or with 5/8 year’s
regular service in a pay scale of Rs.2200-4000/Rs.2000-3500 respectively or equivalent and not less than 7
years of experience out of which at least 5 years in supervisory capacity in public relations/publicity, printing
and publishing (Period of deputation shall not ordinarily exceed 3 years.)
Essential Qualification for Sl. No. 2: (i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second
schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council
Act of 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part – II of the Third Schedule should also
fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956 and (ii) Post Graduate
degree in any medical specialty.
Essential Experience: 3 years experience in the specialty after PG Degree. Desirable: (i) Experience in
Hospital Administration. (ii) Preference may be given to PG holder in Psychiatry.
Essential Qualification for Sl. No. 3: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Arts/Science from a recognized
University.
Essential Experience: (b) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis or (ii) 5 years regular service in the
pre- revised pay scale Rs.6500 – 10500 or with 8 years regular service in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs.5500
– 9000/- (b) Passed in the Subordinate Accounts Service/JAO or equivalent examination conducted by any of
the Accounts Department of the Central Government. Desirable: Working experience in the Accounts
Finance & Budgetary matters and other related field / Organized Accounts Cadre / Assam Financial Services
etc.
Essential Qualification for Sl. No.4: (i) First or Second Class (55%) in M.Sc.(Statistics/ Biostatistics)
/MA(Stat /Maths /Economics) with Statistic as a paper from a recognized University/ Institution. (ii) Should
have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by the
UGC like SLET/SET. Candidates with Ph.D. degree (awarded in accordance with UGC norms 2009) are
exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET. (iii) Ability to use computers – Exposure and ability to
use statistical software, hands on experience in office applications, spread sheets and presentations etc.
Essential Experience: 2 years teaching & research experience in a recognized teaching Institution.
Desirable: Ph.D. in concerned specialty from a recognized University/Institution.
Essential Qualification for Sl. No. 5: Master’s Degree in library science /information science/documentation
with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institution and
consistently good academic records.
Essential Experience: 2 years working experience in Library set up of a medical institution/govt.
autonomous institution as Librarian /Assistant Librarian in the pre- revised scale of Rs.5500 – 9000/-.
Desirable: M.Phil/Ph.D. degree in Library Science/Information science.
Essential Qualification for Sl. No. 6: First or Second Class (55%) Master’s Degree in concerned specialty
and (ii) M. Phil. in Clinical Psychology/Medical & Social Psychology from a recognized Institutions/
University. RCI registration for the post of Clinical Psychologist will be compulsorily required.
Essential Experience: 2 years teaching & research experience as Clinical Psychologist in a Mental Hospital,
Child Guidance Clinic or Psychiatric Department of a General Hospital/Recognized teaching Institutions.
Essential Qualification for Sl. No. 7: (i) Master’s degree in Psychology / MSW from a recognized
University or its equivalent qualifications. (ii) Postgraduate degree / diploma in Vocational guidance and
training from a recognized Institution. (iii) Five years teaching & clinical experience in the field of
rehabilitation of the psychologically handicapped in a recognized Institution. Desirable: Experience of
research in the field of Vocational guidance for at least one year.
Essential Qualification for Sl. No. 8: i) First Class M.Sc. in Home Science with Diploma in dietetics from a
recognized University/ Institutions or First Class Masters Degree in Food & Nutrition from a recognized
University / Institution. Desirable: 3 years working experience in the field out of which 2 years experience as
dietician in a hospital.
Essential Qualification for Sl. No. 9: i) B.Sc. (Hons) in Speech Pathology & Audiology or equivalent
qualification from a recognized University / Institutions. Desirable: 3 years working experience in the field
of Speech Pathology preferably in Neuro – psychiatric disorder in a psychiatric hospital of Central / State /
Semi Govt. organization.
Essential Qualification for Sl. No. 10: (i) B. Sc in Horticulture / Agriculture from a recognized
University/Institution or 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from AICTE recognized Institution with
Landscape /architectural background /experience is required or (ii) Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Botany with one year’s Diploma in Horticulture from a recognized
Institution/University.
Essential Qualification for Sl. No. 11: Bachelor’s Degree in B. Pharm from a recognized
University/Institution. Registration under Pharmacy Council.
Essential Qualification for Sl. No. 12: (i) Higher Secondary Examination Passed (ii) Diploma in
Radiography from a recognized Institution. Desirable: 1 year full time experience in Radiological technique.
Essential Qualification for Sl. No. 13: Bachelor’s Degree in Radio-diagnosis Technology/Radiographer/XRay
Technique from a recognized University/Institution. Desirable: One year experience of dark room works
including processing and printing of black and white and coloured films.
Essential Qualification for Sl. No. 14: Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Technique from a recognized
University/AICTE recognized Institution.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
(1)Candidates who do not fulfill requirement of advertisement need not apply (2) Allowances will be as per
Central Government rates as adopted by this Institute from time to time. (3) Candidates working in
State/Central Govt./PSU/ Autonomous Body must apply through proper channel or submit “No Objection
Certificate.” (4) Incomplete application or applications received after the last date will summarily rejected.
(5)In case on deputation, vigilance clearance / integrity certificate from parent department will be required.
(6) In case of deputation, age of the candidate should not exceed 56 years. (7) Period of deputation will be 3
years initially which may be extended from time to time on mutual agreement between borrowing and
lending departments. (8) Appointments in case of direct recruitment will be on probation for 2 (two) years.
