Employment Type: Probation period of 1 year

Educational Requirements: Master’s degree in Physics (Pure/Applied)/ Computer Science or degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science and Engineering / Computer Science and Technology, Telecommunication / Radio Physics of a recognized University or equivalent.

Experience Requirements: Three years practical experience in the testing and evaluation of electrical stores / materials / measuring instruments in a recognized laboratory or Institute.

 A. EDUCATIONAL
(i) Ph. D Degree with the first class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
(ii) Ten years experience in teaching/industry/research out of which 5 years must be at the level of Assistant Professor and /or equivalent.

For candidates from Industry and profession 
Master’s degree in Electronics Communication Engineering with professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph. D degree and with 10 years industrial/professional experience of which at lease 5 years should be at a senior level comparable to that of Professor would also be eligible.

Note-I The qualifications are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. 
DESIRABLE Administrative experience in a responsible position.
