Applications are invited for the post of Technical/Secretarial Assistant @ Rs. 10,000=00 per
month in the DST sponsored book writing project entitled ‘Hard Parts of Indian Freshwater
Fishes, Their use in Fishery Management, Fish Diversity Conservation and as Pollution
Indicators’ sanctioned to Prof. M.S Johal latest by 16-8-2013.
Qualifications: Graduate from any recognized university having the knowledge of various
computer software used in writing the book, project reports etc. Preference will
be given to the candidate having certificate course in data entry/advance
diploma in computer applications and experience in this regard supported by
documents..
Duties: Typing on the computer/maintenance of office record relating to book writing
project.
To look after the laboratory work of the project, to undertake field work related
to project and any other duty assigned by the Principal Investigator
To evaluate the competency in the computer work, on the day of interview,
small test may be conducted.
The post is purely temporary, co-terminus with the project.
