2. M.Sc.( Nuclear Medicine) from a recognized University
3. 10+2 or its equivalent from recognized Board/University. Diploma in Dental
Mechanic from a recognized institution, Punjabi upto Matric level. Specially
Trained in porcelain work with experience more than 5years
4 10+2 in any stream with five years experience of dental chair side assistant
from recognized institute. Preference will be given having diploma in Dental
Chair Side Assistant with three years experience.
5 Graduation in any stream, worked under Cardiologist with three years
experience in Medical College or recognized Medical Institute in Non
Invasive Cardiology ( Echo, TMT, Holter)
6 Post Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks. Fifteen years
teaching experience with a minimum of ten years as Professor/ Associate
Professor/ Reader in a University
OR
Fifteen years in the officer cadre of University with a minimum of seven
years as Deputy Registrar.
Age: Candidate should be below the age of 55 years

9. 10th from recognized board. Two years experience in a Plastic Surgery and
Burns Centre.
10 M.D. (Pharmacology)/ M.Pharma (Pharmacognosy) from a recognized
University/ Institution with at least 5 publications in National/International
Journals.
At least 5 years experience in Research/Teaching in a Research/Teaching
Institutions.
Desirable: The candidate with exposure to teaching/research experience in
testing of herbal product or designing of herbal products will be preferred
11. 10 +2 (Medical), B.Sc, MLT from recognized University/ Institution with
minimum 2 years experience in laboratory.
Desirable : Knowledge of working of Flow Cytometer Gas
Chromatography. Experience in handling FACS Calibur will be preferred.
12 M.Sc.(Molecular Biology & Biochemistry) with minimum 5 years experience
in handling Sophisticated instruments like FACS, GCMS, PCR etc. in a
recognized health Institution of National importance.
Desirable: Experience in clinical Research as established by publication in
indexed journals. Experience in quality assurance/Pharmacovigilance/
Clinical Trials will be preferred.
13 M.B.B.S Degree and holding Post Graduate degree in M.D of requisite
speciality from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Registered with the Punjab Medical Council or with Medical Council of
India.
14 M.B.B.S degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of
India. Registered with the Punjab Medical Council or Medical Council of
India.
General terms and conditions:
1. The applicant must enclose demand draft as under:
a. Rs 1500/-(Rs 750/- for SC/ST) for Serial Number 1,2, 6 to 8, 10,13
& 14
b. Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- SC/ST) for Serial No. 3 to 5, 9,10, 11,12
Non-refundable in favour of The Registrar, Baba Farid University of
Health Sciences, Faridkot payable at Faridkot
2. The University has right to increase or decrease the number of posts at any
stage without citing any reason or not to fill any or all the posts.
3. It is not obligatory to call every candidate for interview who fulfills the
prescribed qualification.
4. The applicants (General Category) applying for non teaching posts should
not below the age of 18 years and above 38 years of age on the last date of
receipt of application form . Relaxation in upper age for SC/BC candidate is
5 years and for Physical Handicapped is 10 years.
5. Maximum age limit for the post of Assistant Professor is upto 42 years
relaxable upto 52 years for all state/Central Govt. employee. Relaxation in
upper age as per Sr.No.4.
6. The Applicant must have passed Punjabi or its equivalent examination upto
Matric level.
7. The Application on prescribed proforma must accompany self attested
copies of certificates for proof of date of birth, marks sheet, degree,
experience etc
8. Last date and time of receipt of application form at the office of the
Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Sadiq Road, Faridkot is
21.8.2013 upto 5pm.
9. The applications received without a valid bank draft or without legible
copies of documents or apparently containing incomplete information and
those received after prescribed date & time will be summarily rejected.
10. Applicant must possess the requisite qualification by the last date of receipt
of application.
11. Candidates already in service must route their application Through Proper
Channel.
12. Separate application/proforma be used for each post.
13. Candidates are advised to mention the Serial Number and name of the post
on the envelope.
14. The candidates who have already applied for the post of Assistant Professor
( Chest & T.B) in reference to advt. 5/13 need not to apply again.
