Educational Requirements: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Life Sciences with an Advanced P.G.Diploma in Computer Science/ Bioinformatics. The candidate having Ph.D degree in the relevant field will be preferred.

Experience Requirements: Experience in managing large servers, storage and network system. Linux/SQl, Scripts, Biodiversity Database development, Protein modeling and molecular phylogeny.

Walk in interview for the posts of Research Assistant & Laboratory Assistant (Contract)

A walk in interview will be held at 11:00 AM on 25th July 2013 in the Centre for Studies in Biotechnology, Dibrugarh University for the following purely temporary positions.

1.  Research Associate (RA): 1 Post (Purely temporary) under DBT-BIF project.

Qualification: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Life Sciences with an Advanced P.G.Diploma in Computer Science/ Bioinformatics. The candidate  having Ph.D degree in the relevant field will be preferred.

Desirable Qualification: Experience in managing large servers, storage and network system. Linux/SQl, Scripts, Biodiversity Database development, Protein modeling and molecular phylogeny.

Age: Below 35

Salary: Rs. 16000/- p.m + 15% HRA or Rs. 12000/- + HRA depending upon qualification

2.Laboratory Assistant: 1 Post (contractual)

Qualification: B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons) with PCB group.

Desirable: Working experience in handling reagent, Chemicals and Storage shall be preferred.

Salary: Rs. 5000/- per month (fixed)

Age: Below 35

• The Centre reserve the right not fill any post depending on the qualification/credential of the candidates
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview
