Educational Requirements: (i) A recognised medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post-graduate degree qualification in the speciality i.e MD (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation)/ DNB in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation awarded by National Board of Examination/2 years Diploma course in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation after obtaining MD (Medicine)/MS (Surgery)/ MD (Pediatrics)/ MS (Orthopedic) or any other equivalent qualification.

Experience Requirements: 12 years standing in the Profession out of which at least 4 years experience should be in the concerned speciality as Associate Professor in a Medical College / Teaching Institution after the requisite Post-graduate degree qualification.

How To Apply: Eligible and willing candidates may “Walk-in for Interview” on 31st July, 2013 at 2.30 pm with typed application on a prescribed proforma as shown in Annexure I along with passport size photograph and attested photocopies with originals of the testimonials. The candidates should report to Establishment Section Room No. 201, 2nd floor of ‘B’ Block at 2.00 pm on the same date.

2) Associate Professor (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation)
- Educational & Other Qualifications Required :
Essential :
(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second
Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (Other than licentiate
qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act. 1956. Holders of
educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule
should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of
section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

(ii) Post-graduate degree qualification in the speciality i.e MD (Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation)/ DNB in Physical Medicine &
Rehabilitation awarded by National Board of Examination/2 years
Diploma course in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation after obtaining
MD (Medicine)/MS (Surgery)/ MD (Pediatrics)/ MS (Orthopedic) or
any other equivalent qualification.
(iii) At least 5 years experience in the concerned speciality as Tutor /
Demonstrator / Senior Resident / Registrar / Lecturer in a recognized
teaching institution, after the requisite Post-graduate degree
qualification out of which at least 2 years shall be as Assistant
Professor.
- Consolidated Monthly Remuneration : `.70,000/- pm
- Age limit: Not exceeding 50 years on the date of advertisement.
