Other general conditions
1. The vacancies indicative above are only tentative and are liable to change as
per requirement.
2. Those candidates, who are employed in Central Govt. / State Govt. / UTS /
Statutory Bodies / Research institute etc. should send their application along
with service N.O.C. from the employer. Through proper channel. However
they may sent an Advance copy of their application along with requisite
certificates and testimonials. So as to reach this office on or before the
schedule date.
3. The application should be submitted in a prescribed format and the
application that is not submitted in the prescribed format will not be
considered.
4. Incomplete/ unsigned application and application received without
photograph, self attested copies of required certificate such as educational
qualifications, experience, age, etc, and those received after the prescribed
last date of receipt of application will be summarily rejected without any
communication to the candidate.
5. The institute will not be responsible for any delay/ late delivery of the
application by the Postal Authority.
(6) Service Related Conditions
1. Recruitment on contractual basis of above mentioned teaching post will be
as per the guidelines of Medical Council of India / Recruitment Rules and
provisions sanctioned by the competent authority of Surat Municipal
Corporation.
2. Terms and conditions of recruitment of non-teaching staff on contractual
basis will be as under.
a. The candidate so engaged for the purpose will be initially appointed for 11
month and can be extended if required at full discrimination of Surat Municipal
Corporation authority.
b. The candidate appointed should work as per the work/duty assigned by the
official of the Department.
c. Selected candidate should produce willingness certificate/ acceptance certificate
for all terms & conditions at the time of appointment and should enter into
contractual agreement in this regard.
d. Selected candidate so appointed on purely contractual basis, will not be entitle
for any other financial/ non financial benefit/ facilities, or any special
allowances except fixed consolidate emoluments.
e. Candidate so selected on contractual basis will not be consider as regular
employee of S.M.C. and will not be entitle for any service benefits in this
regards.
f. The services of candidate so appointed on contractual basis, will not be
consider as a continuous services at the time of applying/ appointment of any
other post(s) of S.M.C.
g. The selected / appointed candidate, if the services are found not satisfactory is
not regular will be relieved from the post before the expiry of the contractual
period without due notice in this regard.
h. If any appointed candidate remain continuous on leave for 7(seven) day without
prior permission of the Authority will be relieved automatically.
i. If the candidate so appointed on contractual basis, intends to terminate the
contract should give one month notice to the authority in advance.
(7) Surat Municipal Corporation / SMIMER will reserved all rights for the
interpretation any terms and condition, or any query / questions arise in this
regards and the decision of Municipal Commissioner will be final in all respect.
