Note:-
 The engagement is for a period of 1/1.5 years on a purely temporary basis. IOCL, Mathura
Refinery will not take any liability to absorb any candidate after completion of Apprenticeship
Training.
 Graduate Engineers will not be considered for any of the above positions
 Filling up of apprentices positions is at the discretion of the management based on suitability of
the candidates. The decision of the management in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance
or rejection of the application, mode of selection will be final.
Age Limit: Maximum 23 years as on 01.07.2013 (Date of birth should not be prior to 02.07.1990)
Concessions/Relaxation: (1) Relaxation in upper age limit by 5 years for SC/ST candidates & 3 years for
OBC candidates (2) Outstation SC/ST candidates called for test/interview will be reimbursed to and fro
second class rail/Bus fare by shortest route on production of ticket provided the distance is not less than 30
kms.
Selection Methodology: The selection methodology will comprise of written test followed by Interview of
the short listed candidates. Written test and interview shall be conducted at Mathura. Canvassing in any
form will be considered a disqualification.
General Instructions: (1) Candidates should send their typed application on a plain paper(A-4 size) duly
signed with date in the prescribed proforma given below. (2) Advt. No., Discipline Code and Name of
Discipline applied for should be superscribed on the envelope. (3) Candidates should attach self attested
photocopies of testimonials (proof of age, education qualification and caste certificate) failing which the
applications are liable to be rejected. (4) Candidates belonging to OBC category should submit proper caste
certificate as per the proforma of Govt. of India, which should, among others specifically mention that
he/she does not belong to the persons/sections (creamy layer) as mentioned in Col. 3 of the schedule to the
Department of Personnel & Training in the Govt. of India OM No. 36012/22/93-Estt.(SCT) dated 8.9.93.
(5) Applications without supporting documents/Incomplete/not fulfilling the prescribed criteria in any
respect or those received late are liable to be rejected. (6) Wherever CGPA or Grade is awarded in the
examination, its equivalent percentage of marks and class/ division must be indicated in the application
form as per the norms adopted by University/ Institute (7) One candidate can apply for one discipline/trade
only. Candidate applying for more than one discipline/trade will not be considered. (8) Applications
complete in all respects should be sent by Ordinary Post to Post Bag No. 7, Sriniwaspuri Post Office,
New Delhi -110065 so as to reach latest by 12.07.2013. The Corporation will not be responsible for any
application lost in transit.
