Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a Navratna Company, is a premier
Aeronautical Industry of South East Asia, with 19 Production Divisions and 10
R&D Centers spread across the Country. HAL’s spectrum of expertise encompasses
design, development, manufacture, repair, overhaul and upgrade of Aircrafts,
Helicopters, Aero-engines, Industrial & Marine Gas Turbines, Accessories, Avionics
& Systems and structural components for Satellites & Launch Vehicles.
The Koraput Division, a unit of HAL's vast network, has the unique distinction of
being one amongst the few Aero Engine manufacturers in the world for MiG and
Sukhoi Aircraft.
HAL Koraput Division requires a Consultant on contract basis for a period of One
year as per the following:

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
· Degree in Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.
EXPERIENCE :
· At least 20 years of post professional qualification experience.
· Retired Senior Executives from Central Public Sector Undertakings in the
level of General Manager (Pay Scale Rs. 51,300-73,000) or equivalent will
only be eligible to apply.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
· The candidate should possess working experience in Aero Engine Production
and Design associated with Test Rig knowledge. The applicant should have
knowledge in the following areas:-
i) Technology Development/ Indigenization, Repair and Overhaul (ROH)
of PGL (constant frequency generator) of R-25 Engine and Aircraft
Accessory Gear Box of MIG-29 Aircraft (RD-33 Engine)
ii) Background of having headed an Aircraft & Engine Production &
Design Group / Set up, to facilitate grooming of Trainees and also
assistance in establishment of Gas Turbine Research and
Development Centre (GTRDC).
iii) Test Rig Development/fabrication and rectification of existing Test
Rigs.
iv) Engine Test Bed Installation and Commissioning for RD-33 Series-III
Engines and rectification of Test Rigs of RD-33 Series-I and II
Engines.
