How To Apply: The application alongwith the attested copies of relevant documents enclosed to each copy of the application should be sent to the Registrar, Shivaji University, Vidyanagar, Kolhapur – 416004 so as to reach him on or before 31st July, 2013 up to 6.00 p.m.

INSTRUCTIONS -
1. Employed candidates must submit their applications through proper channel.
2. Candidates, who wish to appear for more than one post, should submit separate application for each post.
3. Reservation of female / persons with disabilities will be decided by the University authorities as
perG.R.No.MISC/2001/(148)/Vishi-4, dtd.19/12/2001 and No.MISC/1003/ (03/2004)/EST-2,
dtd.26/5/2004 respectively.
4. Candidates belonging to reserved candidates outside the State of Maharashtra will be treated as OPEN as
per G.R. No.CBC-1084/54577/(1813)/BCW-5, dtd.1/11/1985 & Govt. Circular No.CBC-
1688/(2829)/MAVAK-5, dtd.29/7/1988.
5. The candidate must submitted Declaration in prescribed Form - A, along with the application form as per
rule 4 of having small family as per the directives issued by Government of Maharashtra. Form - A is
available with the application form.
6. University reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all posts advertised.
7. The prescribed application forms are available on the university website www.unishivaji.ac.in of the
university under the tab '' Application for the teachers post '' which have to fill online and print-outs on
A4 size papers, in 06 copies with necessary attested documents and Demand Draft drawn in the name of
the Finance and Accounts Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur payable at Kolhapur Cash Receipt of
Cash Section of University of Rs. 300/- for open post and Rs. 150/- for reserved post should accompany
the Application forms. Forms other than online forms and forms without Demand Draft/ Cash Receipt
will not considered for further process of recruitment.
8. The application alongwith the attested copies of relevant documents enclosed to each copy of the
application should be sent to the Registrar, Shivaji University, Vidyanagar, Kolhapur - 416 004 so as to
reach him on or before 31st July, 2013 up to 6.00 p.m.
9. Applications received after the last date will not be considered. The University will not be responsible for
postal delay, if any.
10. At the time of submitting application, online, technical instructions mentioned on website should be
strictly followed.
11. All updates, corrigendum (if any), time to time instructions regarding this recruitment drive will be
updated on Shivaji University website only; hence, applicants are advised to visit University
website for further updates, if any.
PAY SCALES:
Professor - Rs. 37400-6700 AGP 10000
Assistant Professor - Rs. 15600-39100 AGP 6000
Experience -
Minimum of 10 years experience in teaching / research / industrial experience of which at least 5 years
should be at the level of Associate Professor
Or Minimum of 13 years experience in teaching and/ or Research and/or Industry.
In case of research experience, good academic record and books/research paper publications / IPR/
patents record shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection Committee.
If the experience in industry is considered, the same shall be at managerial level equivalent to
Associate Professor with active participation record in devising / designing, planning, executing
analyzing, quality control, innovating, training, technical books / research paper publications / IPR /
patents etc as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection committee.
