Applications are invited for the following posts purely on temporary basis on contract on a consolidated salary mentioned against each post for a period of one year and extendable up to June 2016 or till the project tenure is completed in the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation sponsored project entitled “Impact of insecticide resistance in malaria vectors on the effectiveness of combination of indoor residual spraying (IRS) and long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs) in India: A multidisciplinary approach”.
General instructions
Age Limit:
Age for all posts is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and other candidates as per Govt. rules in force. It is also relaxable for the candidates in deserving cases up to the limit of five years possessing experience of working in Government/Autonomous bodies at the time of recruitment. Candidates with higher qualifications and experience will be preferred for recruitment. Upper age limit shall be calculated as on 20th June, 2013
Upper age limit as prescribed will be relaxable as follows:
(i) Up to a maximum 5 years to Government servants in accordance with the instructions issued by the Department of Personnel and Training from time to time.
(ii) Up to a maximum of 5 years if a candidate belongs to a SC or a ST category; as per orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.
(iii) Up to a maximum of 10 years if the candidate is a physically handicapped person as per instruction issued from time to time by the GOI.
(iv) Up to a maximum of 3 years if a candidate belongs to OBCs in accordance with DOPT instruction from time to time.
Note:-
(i) SC/ST/PH candidates should submit attested copies of certificates for claiming age relaxation.
(ii) OBC certificate for the purpose of age relaxation will mean “PERSONS OF OBC
CATEGORY NOT BELONGING TO CREAMY LAYER” as defined in DOPT’S O.M.
NO. 36012/22/93-Estt (SCT) dated 8.9.1993 and modified vide O.M. NO. 36033/3/2004-Estt (Res) dated 9.3.2004 and 14.10.2008. The closing date for receipt of application will be treated as the date of reckoning for OBC status of the candidate and also for assuming that the candidate does not fall in the Creamy layer on the reckoning date. The candidate should furnish the relevant OBC certificate in
(iii) the format prescribed for Govt. Job and furnish declaration. OBC candidates must, therefore, furnish valid and updated OBC certificate which should specifically include the clause regarding “Exclusion from Creamy Layer” in order to get age relaxation.
