Note:

i)          Application must be accompanied with the prescribed examination fees and processing charges through Challan.

ii)         Candidate has to approach any nearby SBI Branch with a   print out of Challan and deposit the fees for proper crediting of amount in the allocated account.

iii)       The fee has to be deposited in a specially opened Account No: “Power Jyoti” -31932241266 of SBI, Burnpur.

iv)       On receipt of amount, concerned branch of SBI will issue a Journal Number.

v)        Journal Number is then required to be filled up by the candidates in the space provided in the application form.

vi)       Candidate may also note that a certain amount will be paid by him as Bank Charges to the collection branch of SBI in addition to the applicable examination fee/processing charges.

vii)     Applications submitted without examination fee/processing charges are liable to be rejected.

viii)    No other financial instrument except Challan will be accepted and in case any other instrument is submitted, the application shall be rejected.

Selection Procedure:

For Specialists:  Interview and Medical Examination.

For Jr. Manager (Safety) & Paramedical Staff: Written Test, Interview and Medical Examination.

Note: The management however reserves the right not to hold written test in case sufficient eligible applications are not received for the posts advertised.

How to Apply: 

1)    This advertisement, Application format, Challan, Caste/Category Certificate(s) and Disability certificates are to be downloaded from the website: www.sail.co.in

2)    Eligible and interested candidates fulfilling the above eligibility criteria should submit their duly filled in application in ANNEXURE-I for the post of Specialists, in ANNEXURE-II for the post of Jr. Manager (Safety) and in ANNEXURE-III for the posts of Paramedical Staff.

The application should be filled in  neatly  either  typed  or  hand written in BLOCK letters, affixing one recent colour passport size photograph with full signature on the photo and enclosing self-attested photocopies of the following documents:

a.    Certificates and mark sheets as proof of Age, Educational/Professional Qualification,

b.    Registration of  Respective Council wherever applicable

c.    Experience Certificate(s) wherever applicable.

d.    Caste/ Category certificate in the prescribed format from the appropriate authority if applicable

e.    ISP’s copy of the Challan 

f.     All photocopies of certificates, testimonials enclosed with the application need to be duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.

3)   Incomplete application/ application without enclosures as at para 2 above/ applications received after last date / application submitted in a format other than the prescribed format / unsigned application / application without photograph / application without application fee / application not fulfilling the any eligibility criteria will be summarily rejected. No communication in this regard will be entertained from the applicant.

4)   Envelope containing the application should be clearly be super-scribed ‘Application for the post of __________ _________in SAIL-ISP’ as the case may be on the top of the envelope.

5)    Application complete in all respect for the posts of Jr. Manager (Safety) and  Specialists  must be sent only by ordinary post to

     DGM (Pl – OD),   7The Ridge, CEO’s Office Complex, Burnpur, West Bengal, Pin Code: 713325. 

6)   Application complete in all respect for the posts of Paramedical Staff (Trainee)  must be sent only by ordinary post to

    DGM (Pl – CF), IR Cell, 7 The Ridge, CEO’s Office Complex, Burnpur, West Bengal, Pin Code: 713325.

7)    Applications sent other than ordinary post will not be accepted in any case. If the applications are sent through courier/ registered post, the same will not be accepted. Applications received after the due date will not be accepted.

8)        The last date of receipt of completed application at IISCO Steel Plant is 30/06/2013.

9)    The decision of SAIL-ISP, Burnpur in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance, rejection of the application, issue of call letters, mode of selection, verification of testimonials and selection will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this connection.

General Conditions:

1)    Candidates not fulfilling the requirement specified in this advertisement need not apply.

2)    Candidates working in Govt/Semi-Govt/Public undertakings should apply through proper channel/should produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their present employer at the time of interview.

3)    The Company reserves the right to cancel recruitment for any or all of the posts without assigning any reason. Decision of the Selection Committee shall be final and binding on each candidate. No separate communication shall be made in this regard except to the selected candidates.

4)    Candidates sponsored by the Local Employment Exchange will also have to apply in the prescribed application format along with the requisite fees as indicated in this advertisement, failing which they will not be considered for the selection process.

5)    Candidates called for written test will have to appear at their own cost if management decides to hold the written test depending on the number of applications received.

6)    Bringing influence at any stage of the selection process will disqualify the candidate.

7)    Out station Candidates belonging to SC/ST community called for interview for the post of Paramedical Staff (Trainee) will be reimbursed single to and fro 2^nd Class Railway Fare/Bus Fare by shortest route on production of Railway /Bus Tickets.

8)    Out station candidates called for interview for the post of Jr. Manager (Safety)/Specialist shall be reimbursed single to and fro AC 3 Tier railway fare by shortest route on production of proof of journey.

9)    Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being fit in the Company’s Medical Examination as per standards laid down under SAIL Medical and Health Policy.

10)     If at any stage, it is detected that the candidate has given false information; his candidature will be rejected forthwith.

11)     The date, place and time of the Written Test/interview will be intimated in due course at the postal address.

12)     Candidates should give clear and complete postal address, mobile numbers and e-mail address if any for correspondence; IISCO Steel Plant (ISP) will not be responsible for any postal delay / wrong delivery / non-delivery of any communication at any stage of the recruitment process.
