Andhra Bank, a leading Public Sector Bank, with its Head Office in Hyderabad
invites applications from Retired Bank Executives / Officers for Engagement as
“Faculty on Contract basis” for its Apex College at Hyderabad / Training
centre at Visakhapatnam / Vijayawada.
Retired Executives / Officers of Public Sector Banks at the Scale-III and above
cadres who satisfy the following eligibility criteria are invited to submit the
application on or before 15.06.2013
Eligibility Criteria:
I. General :
 Officer who has retired on superannuation / VRS from Banking
industry, having requisite academic and professional qualifications
with good communication skills
 Other pre-requisites :
i. The officer should have retired in Scale-III & above cadre
ii. Age should not be more than 65 years, as on 01.06.2013
II. Essential:
 Graduation in any faculty recognized by any university in India.
 CAIIB (both parts) or Professional qualification like M.B.A, C.A,
B.Tech etc.
 Managerial experience of at least 3 years and / or
 Strong background in any one or more of the following areas of
specialization viz., Credit, Agriculture, Marketing, HR and Forex
III. Desirable:
 Prior experience as Faculty
 Aptitude for teaching
No of Vacancies : Two vacancies in each area of specialization in Credit,
Agriculture, Marketing and HR and One vacancy in the
area of Forex.
Remuneration : Consolidated remuneration of Rs 45000/- per month
Period of Contract : One year, extendable upto a maximum of two years
subject to review of performance every year.
Designation : Faculty on Contract basis.
Nature of job :
i) Preparation & handling sessions of in-house programmes at Apex
college/Centres.
ii) Coordinating the programs as per the directions of the Principal of
Apex college.
iii) Preparing Study Material / Case studies to be given to participants
or to be kept in portal
iv) Conduct of Study on different aspects of banking based on
directions of top management of the Bank.
v) Interacting with Faculty fraternity of different institutes for
updating the curriculum from time to time based on the changes
in the financial environment and need of organization.
vi) Any other faculty / consultancy service as directed by Head Office
as and when required
Place of posting : Hyderabad / Visakhapatnam / Vijayawada
Termination of contract : By giving one month notice on either side.

Selection Process :
