Tea Board, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry desires to fill up 3 (Three)
posts of Staff Car Driver in the Revised Pay Band 1 of Rs.5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1,900/- plus
usual allowances corresponding to the place of posting. Venues of Technical Test and Interview shall be notified
in due course. Probable vacancies are at the following places:
1. Jalpaiguri – 01 post (Reserved for OBC)
2. Jorhat – 01 post (Unreserved)
3. Dibrugarh – 01 post (Reserved for OBC)
It may also be noted that place of posting may change subsequently according to the need of the office and
candidate selected finally for appointment to the post may have to work at any of its offices within India.
Interested candidates having requisite (both technical and educational) qualification may apply for the post
subject to fulfillment of the following conditions:
1. Candidate must be an Indian Citizen
2. Only male candidates may apply.
3. Age Limit : 40 years (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India’s orders
issued from time to time) on the closing date of application.
4. Educational Qualification : Should have read upto Class VIII (Middle School Standard)
5. Technical Qualification : Must hold a Driving Licence for driving car/heavy vehicle issued
by any Govt. Motor Vehicle Office with at least five years’ working experience in driving.

Application to be made in plain paper neatly typewritten in double space giving complete Biodata
including telephone No. with attested copies of testimonials and documents in support of
caste (i.e. SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen etc.) and details of experience as mentioned above
alongwith two recent passport size photographs. One of the photograph must have the signature
of the applicant.
7. Persons working in Government or Public Sector Undertaking should apply through proper
channel.
8. One envelope should contain one application of one applicant only.
9. If any information furnished by applicant is found to be false or incorrect at any stage, his
candidature shall be liable for rejection.
10. Tea Board reserves the right to cancel any application or technical test at its discretion and no
correspondence in this regard shall be entertained at any point of time.
