QUALIFICATION:
M.E / M.TECH – in Microwave Engineering from a reputed college. Aggregate marks of Minimum
70% or equivalent CGPA for General & OBC candidates and 60% or equivalent CGPA for ST candidates.
Candidates who are in final semester may also apply. However they should have secured 70% or
equivalent CGPA for General & OBC candidates and 60% or equivalent CGPA for ST upto 3rd Semester.
AGE: 27 years for General candidates, 30 years for OBC, 32 years for ST / PWD as on 01.05.2013.
RESERVATION: 2 – GEN, 1 – OBC, 1 - ST
*PAY: Selected candidates will be offered two additional increments in the pay scale Rs.16400/- - 3% -
40500/-.
JOB PROFILE: The job involves design, development, evaluation and documentation for manufacturing
microwave modules, sub-systems and super components for use in Radar, Communication and
Electronic Warfare areas.
The design process would involve design, simulation and optimization. The work would typically involve
design of Power amplifiers, Low noise Amplifiers, Filters in various configurations using lumped and
distributed topologies, Frequency sources, Frequency converters, Antenna elements and Supercomponents
such as Wideband receivers.
Mode of Selection:
Selection will be through a written test, followed by an interview of short listed candidates based on
their performance in the written test.
General Conditions:
In addition to Basic Pay other allowances like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Conveyance
allowance, Performance Related Pay, Medical Reimbursement, Leave Travel Allowance, Interest Subsidy
on Housing Loan, Group Insurance, PF, Gratuity etc (as per Company rules) will be part of the
remuneration package.
Only Indian Nationals need to apply.
Applications of GEN/OBC candidates should be accompanied by a crossed Demand Draft drawn on any
Scheduled Bank (preferably State Bank of India) for Rs.500/- in favour of Bharat Electronics Limited,
Bangalore.
Candidates employed in Government / Quasi Government and Public Sector Undertakings will be
required to have their application forwarded through proper channel or produce No Objection
Certificate at the time of interview.
The number of posts indicated above, may vary based on the actual requirement at the time of
selection. Applications that are incomplete, not in the prescribed format, not legible or without the
required enclosures will be summarily rejected without assigning any reason and no correspondence in
this regard will be entertained.
Out station ST candidates will be reimbursed II class to and fro train fare by the shortest route (from
their correspondence address) for attending the written test / interview. Candidates belonging to Gen /
OBC category will be reimbursed train fare, if they are short listed for the interview.
Candidates are required to possess at least one valid e-mail id which is to be entered in the application
form. Information pertaining to the written test/ interview will be sent by e-mail only to the id that is
furnished. BEL will not be responsible for bouncing of any e-mail sent to the candidate.
Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification. BEL reserves the right to debar / disqualify any
candidate at any stage of the selection process for any reason whatsoever.
