Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not be exceed 40 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess MDS in the concerned speciality from a recognized University. For Forensic Odontology or Forensic Dentistry post, candidates with MDS in Oral Pathology with or having Post Graduate Degree/Diploma or certification in Forensic Odontology from any University/Institution of repute after BDS may apply.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test and interview.
Application Fee: Candidates has to pay the fee of Rs.1000/- for General /OBC and Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PH in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of Director Principal, Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi, payable at Delhi.

VACANCY FOR SENIOR RESIDENTS
(DENTAL SPECIALITIES)
Applications are invited to fill up the vacant posts (tenure) of
Senior Residents in the Pay Band -3 [Rs.15600 – 39100] + GP-6600/- and allowances
as admissible under Residency scheme in the following specialties.
Interested candidates may
apply on the prescribed form. Duly filled in applications alongwith
supporting documents should be submitted at Room No. 116, 1st
floor, Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, B.S.Zafar Marg, New
Delhi-110002, on or before 25-06-2013
(Tuesday) upto 12.00 Noon.
Eligibility : Passed MDS in the concerned speciality (not before 25.06.2008 i.e.
within 5 years ), from a recognized University. For Forensic Odontology or Forensic Dentistry post : Candidates
with MDS in Oral Pathology with or
having post graduate degree/diploma or certification in Forensic Odontology
from any University/Institution of
repute after BDS may apply.
Fee Payble : Rs.1000/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/PH. The fee should be paid in the form

Selection :
The selection will be made through written test followed by interview of
shortlisted candidates except
for the post of Forensic
Odontology(for which only interview will be held). The written test
(MCQs) would consist of two parts.
Part-I (General Dentistry) [50 questions] and Part-II (Speciality), [50
questions]. Duration of examination:
Part-I, 50 Minutes & Part-II, 50 Minutes, with a break of 10 Minutes.
There will be negative marking. One mark will be deducted for every incorrect
answer. Only qualified candidates will be called for interview. (Qualifying Marks for Gen-50%, OBC-45%,
SC/ST-40%)
Maximum
Age Limit: 40 years. Relaxation for OBC/SC/ST candidates as per rule.
