ICMR Recruitment 2013 – Walk in for Word Process Technologist, Sr Technical Asst Posts: Enterovirus Research Centre, Mumbai, under Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has issued notification for the recruitment of 06 Sr Technical Assistant and Word Processing Technologist vacancies in the project for immediate appointment. 1. Sr. Technical Assistant: 05 Posts
2. Word Processing Technologist: 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should not be exceed 28 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess M.Sc. (1st class) in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences for Post No.1, BA (English) or B.Com (Accounting/ Auditing) with at least 58% marks from a recognized university for Post No.2.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in written examination and interview.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates willing to appear for interview should register their names along with 5 copies of CV (one with Passport size photograph) at Enterovirus Research Centre, Mumbai, Haffkine Institute  Compound, Acharya Donde Marg Parel, Mumbai 400012 on 05-06-2013 from 10:00 am onwards.

WALK – IN – INTERVIEW on 5th June 2013 from 10.00am onwards

The Centre requires the following personnel for non-institutional posts in the project

entitled “National Task Force Project on Laboratory Containment of Wild Polioviruses”, for

immediate appointment. Opportunities open for suitable candidates. The candidates fulfilling

essential and desirable qualification and experience for the following posts are requested to

attend the interview.

1. Sr. Technical Assistant: Five posts

Consolidated Salary: Rs. 27,397/- p.m.

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (1st class) in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/

Biotechnology/ Life Sciences.

Desirable Qualification: MSCIT. Good knowledge of internet surfing, bibliography search,

and database handling

2. Word Processing Technologist: One post

Consolidated Salary: Rs. 18,360/- per month

Qualification: Qualification in order of preference –

BA (English) OR B.Com (Accounting/ Auditing) with at least 58%

marks from a recognized university.

1year work experience in handling office correspondence,

banking work and/ or store purchase and account work. Good

Knowledge of office automation is a necessity.

Work Profile: Effective communication skills, Data storage retrieval. Should

effectively handle arrangements for meetings, conference calls

and travel plans.

Age Limit: Below 28 years (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per GOI

rules)

The appointment will be purely on temporary basis up to 31st March 2014. However, the

period of engagement is linked with results and performance evaluation. The appointee will not

have any claim for a regular post in the Institute or in any Dept. of Govt. of India. Persons on

regular time scale service in Govt. organization/institutions are not eligible.

Qualified candidates willing to appear for the interview should register their names along with 5

copies of CV (one with Passport size photograph). Registration will close at 10:30am.

Candidates should be ready to appear for a written examination before the interview.
