(BORL) is just the right place. BORL is a Company promoted by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., with
equity participation from Oman Oil Company S. A. O. C., Oman. BORL has set up a 6 MMTPA grass root
petroleum refinery at Bina, Madhya Pradesh. The state-of-the-art refinery has commenced production and is
fully operational. Other than refinery located at Bina, there is a Crude Oil Terminal located at Vadinar
(Jamnagar, Gujarat), a 935 KM long cross country underground pipeline across Gujarat & Madhya Pradesh to
transport crude oil to Bina, a marketing terminal at Bina spread over 640 acres and a 257 KM long
underground cross country pipeline to Kota (Rajasthan) for dispatching end products. Other than green fuels
such as unleaded Euro III and Euro IV grade of Petrol and Diesel, refinery produces Kerosene, LPG, ATF,
Naphtha, Pet Coke, and Sulphur.
For the comfort and welfare of the employees at Bina, there is a Residential Complex close to the refinery,

Sr. Manager / Manager- (Electrical) Position Code : 01
Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from a reputed university
Experience: 10-16 years in electrical maintenance in large continuous process industries i.e. operating
refinery/ petrochemical/ fertilizers/ cement etc. Candidate shall be experienced in maintenance/ installation /
commissioning/ testing of electrical equipments e.g. generators, motors, transformers, switchgear up to 33
KV, variable drives, numerical relays, load management system, Hazardous area classification and rich
experience in electrical safety, contract management, conversant with workshop facility, project
management, UPS and EOT cranes etc. Experience in working on SAP platform would be preferred.
Asst. Vice President / Sr. Manager - (Finance) Position Code : 02
Qualification: Chartered Accountant
Experience: 15 to 20 years experience in a large industry. The job responsibilities cover treasury & banking
management, financial reporting, administration of accounts, administration of taxes, finalization of contract
agreements and other statutory documents, audit etc. Analyse the organisation's revenues, liabilities, credit
conditions, and other financial indicators to forecast it's short, medium, and long-term cash flow position;
evaluate and recommend investments, funding sources, and other financial instruments that will meet these
cash flow needs. Provide technical expertise and advice on financial issues, develop revenue and expense
budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities. Ensure that all tax returns,
tax declarations, and other required reports are submitted accurately and on time. Select, and manage
ongoing relationships with, external consultants and advisors to ensure the organization receives
satisfactory standards of service. Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop financial staff to ensure the
organisation's accounting activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to
relevant regulations, laws, and standards. Person with knowledge of working on SAP platform would be
preferred. Experience in Refining / Petrochemical plant will be an added advantage. Good Negotiation and
Business Communication Skills.
Dy.Manager / Asst. Manager - (Finance) Position Code : 03
Qualification: Chartered Accountants
Experience: 2 to 8 years’ experience in a large professionally managed company. Experience in the area of
accounting / audit / taxation / banking / treasury / MIS etc. is required. Reconcile accounts, post journal
entries, and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and
reporting schedules so that the organisation has a full and accurate statement of its financial position.
Collect, compile, verify, and analyse financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting
statements so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions.
These reports may include profit and loss statements, balance sheets, depreciation statements, cash flow,
debtor and creditor lists, repayment schedules, regulatory reports and filings. Knowledge of SAP-FICO
module will be an added advantage. Good Negotiation and Business Communication Skills.
Dy. Manager / Asst. Manager - (Fire & Safety) Position Code:04
Qualification: BE/B Tech Graduate in Fire/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering. Preference will be given to
candidates having Diploma in Industrial Safety
Experience: 02 to 08 years in safety department of refinery/petrochemical and fertilizers industry.
Job Responsibilities:
 Effective implementation of safety system in the area
 Imparting training on program Road safety /traffic safety/ general safety/ PPE safety etc and
making presentation of same
 Conducting of plant safety committee meeting and contractors safety meeting.
 MIS for near miss/ incident/ frequency rate/ severity rate etc
 Preparation of MSDS, Safety board, Sign of safety of speed, PPEs, safety shower
 Review of painting of various signs/ symbols safety related.
 Workplace monitoring and improvement by plant visits.
 Monitoring of PPE and ensuring availability.
 Accident investigation and implementing recommendation of same, sharing lessons.
 Promoting safety culture by safety promotion activities.
 Assist in developing Job safety Analysis for critical activities.
 Conduct safety training for employees and contractors.
 Conduct tool box talks for employees.
 Carry out responsibilities of AM-Fire in case of requirement. Dy. Manager / Asst. Manager - (Human Resource) Position Code:05
Qualification: MBA in Human Resource Management/ MSW/MHRM from a reputed University. Preference will be given to candidates having graduation in Engineering.
Experience: 2 to 8 years’ experience in handling Recruitment, Performance Management System, Competency Mapping, Statutory Compliances, Compensation & Benefits in any large organization. The Person will operate in and be responsible for more than one of these areas and perform many of the same activities as professionals that specialize in these individual HR functions. Sr. Manager / Manager - (Process) Position Code: 06
Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from a reputed University
Experience: 10 to 16 years’ experience in operating units in Petroleum Refinery / Fertilizer / petrochemical Industry with 3-4 years’ experience in independently guiding the process team in running & monitoring different process plants. Hands-on experience in DCS operations is a must. Ensure safe & efficient operation of the Plant. Sound knowledge of Trouble Shooting, Plant Start-up/Shut-down and Plant Safety. Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of process staff to ensure that the team’s resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met. Good Communication and IT skills. Sr. Manager / Manager - (Purchase & Contracts) Position Code :07 (Commercial) Position Code: 13
Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech. in Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation/Civil/ Electronics from a reputed university. MBA/ PG Diploma in Materials Management will be an added advantage.
Experience: 10 to 16 years’ experience in procurement, purchase, warehousing and contract management in a large industrial unit / hydrocarbon processing plant / organization. Liaise with functional or operational area managers to understand their current and anticipated demand for goods and materials and develop plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing purchasing activities. Evaluate and select suppliers and negotiate terms for major purchases; commit to purchases that are in the organisation’s best interest. Develop policies, checklists, or other materials that describe the organisation’s technical, quality, service, or reliability standards to help purchasing staff evaluate supplier proposals. Analyse and evaluate the organisation’s overall purchasing trends to identify areas where purchases could be made in bulk. Analyse and evaluate external price trends and new product offerings to identify opportunities to reduce overall purchasing costs. Select, and manage ongoing relationships with, major suppliers, vendors, or sub-contractors to ensure that the organisation receives satisfactory standards of service. Qualification: The candidate should be B.E / B. Tech Graduate in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Chemical disciplines from a reputed university.
Experience: 02-08 years in the field of Procurement/Contract management in oil & gas/refinery / petrochemical / Fertilizer Company. MBA/PG Diploma in Materials Management will be an added advantage. Analyse and evaluate supplier bids, tenders, proposals, or quotations where the purchase order is more complex or of greater significance to the organisation; negotiate prices and delivery conditions; and commit to purchases with terms that are in the organisation’s best interest. Communicate with vendors to resolve problems with the timeliness or quality of supplies. Respond to escalated enquiries; review and authorise the purchasing recommendations of others.
