Qualification:-
Diploma in Engineering (Chemical/Production/Mechanical) with 55% marks (PA Level I) B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engg (min. 55% marks); B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engg (min. 55% marks); B.E./B.Tech. Chemical Engg, B.E./B.Tech. Production Engg. + 2 years experience (PA Level II/III)
General Conditions:-
Duration of project: Till March, 2017. Initial appointment is for one year and then it will be renewed annually subject to satisfactory performance.
Fellowship:
Rs. 8,000/- PM (Level I)
Rs. 12,000/- PM or Rs. 14,000/- PM for GATE qualified candidates (PA Level II/III).
Age: Maximum 25 years for PA Level I, 28 years for PA Level II & 32 years for PA Level III as on the date of interview. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rule.
Job description:
Development / designing of novel material handling equipments such as Salt Ridger, Salt Loader, Salt Harvestor, Salt Washery etc. Demonstration of mechanization equipments at different locations in the country.
The candidate should have elective subject as advanced structural analysis or water resource management and hands on knowledge of CAD 2D/3D, experience in working in the area of structural designs and construction on field.
Development of novel process of saline waste management. Chemical analysis especially related to salt and marine chemicals with classical / instrumental methods.
Designing of solar salt works, maintenance and renovation of solar salt works,
Structural analysis or water resource management. The candidate should have hands on knowledge of CAD 2D/3D, experience in working in the area of structural designs and construction on field.
Optimization of parameters for the process of formation of spherical salt at laboratory to pilot plant scale and their relevant kinetics & mass transfer studies (if required), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) studies of various factors influenced in the formation of spherical salt process, Setting up a 100 kg to 250 kg/day spherical salt pilot production facility at institute's experimental salt farm
