Applications are invited for the following positions in an IITM, Pune (Ministry of Earth
Science, Government of India) sponsored project entitled “Soil Plant Atmosphere Study in Relation to
Net CO2 Flux from Terestrial Ecosystem of Assam” under Professor K.K Baruah, Principal
Investigator, Department of Environmental Science, Tezpur University, Tezpur – 784 028, Assam.
Positions : Two (02) Junior Research Fellows (JRFs)
Qualification : For (1) M.Sc in Physics.
For (2) M.Sc in Agricultural Physics/Agricultural
Meteorology/Agriculture
Remuneration : Rs. 16,000.00 (Rupees Sixteen Thousand) only per month.
Positions : Two (02) Technical Assistants
Qualification : For (1) Three Years Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or
Certificate Course from ITI in Electronics with 3 (Three) years experience.
For (2) B.Sc with Botany or 10 + 2 pass with experience of working in
field for 3(Three) years.
Remuneration Rs. 8,000.00 (Rupees Eight Thousand) only per month (Fixed)
Duration : Three (03) years or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
Age : Candidate should not be more than 28 years of age on the date of
interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of
candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically
Challenged/Experienced applicants.
