PROFESSOR (TRANSFUSION MEDICINE): (Vacancy—1) Qualification & Experience: Fourteen years of
teaching and/or research experience after obtaining post graduate qualification MD in speciality concerned/
Pathology. Desirable: (1) Experience of active participation and sharing of responsibility in administrative and
academic activities of a well organised department in the speciality concerned/experience in running research
projects. (2) Adequate research experience evidenced by quality research publications in indexed journals. Pay
Band 37400—67000 (minimum pay `51600/-) and academic grade pay `10500/. Upper age limit: 50 yrs. as on
30.04.2013 (Online only).
2. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (ANAESTHESIOLOGY): (Vacancy— 1) Qualification & Experience: Six years
of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the requisite post graduate qualification MD in the
speciality concerned OR four years after DM or its equivalent qualification in the case of 2 years course and three
years after DM in the case 3 years course and nine years after MBBS with DM in the case of direct 5 year course.
Candidates with qualification/experience in Cardiac Anaesthesia will be preferred. Pay Band 37400—67000
(minimum pay `42800/-) and academic grade pay `9000/-. Upper age limit: 45 yrs. as on 30.04.2013 (Online

3. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (BIOCHEMISTRY): (Vacancy—1) Qualification & Experience: Six years of
teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the requisite post graduate qualification MD in Biochemistry.
Desirable: Adequate research experience as evidenced by publications. Job description: Includes providing
leadership in initiating advanced techniques in Clinical Biochemistry. Pay Band 37400—67000 (minimum pay

8. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (PATHOLOGY): (Vacancy— 1) Qualification & Experience: 1) Three years of
teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the requisite post graduate qualification MD in the speciality

40 yrs as on 30.04.2013 (Online only).
Note: (i) Where medical qualification is required, they must have a medical qualification included in the Indian
Medical Council Act 1956 and Registration with the Central/State Medical Registration Council. (ii) Wherever
applicable equivalent qualifications for example FRCP(C) etc. will also be considered as sufficient qualification.
(iii) In the case of Post Doctoral Certificate Course holders of this Institute in Anaesthesiology / Imaging Sciences
& Interventional Radiology, one-year duration of the course will be considered as teaching/research experience.
9. HINDI OFFICER: Qualification & Experience: (Vacancy— 1) 1) MA (Hindi) with English as a subject in
the degree level. Knowledge of a modern Indian Language. 2) Minimum five years experience as Hindi
Translator in Central Govt. Office. Experience in dealing with Parliamentary Committee on Official Language
will be given preference. Desirable: Candidates who have acquired Ph.D in Hindi in the field of Official
Language will be added advantage. Pay Band 9300—34800 (starting pay `13350/-) and grade pay `4800/-. Upper
age limit: 35 yrs as on 30.04.2013 (relaxation up to 40 years for Central Govt. Employees) (Online only).
10. PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER: (Vacancy—1) Qualification & Experience: 1) 60% marks in Degree
from a recognised University. 2) P.G. Diploma in Public Relations/Journalism. 3) 5 years experience in Front
Office Management/ Public Relations in a reputed large Institution. Desirable: Knowledge in computer operation
and publications. Pay Band 9300—34800 (starting pay `12540/-) and grade pay `4600/-. Upper age limit: 35 yrs as
