Educational Requirements: A Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree of an Indian University or an equivalent qualification with Post Graduate Qualification/ Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in the subject and four years teaching experience after post graduation.

G. General Conditions:-
(i) The crucial date for determining the age limit and other eligibility criteria
shall be the closing date for receipt of online applications from candidates
in India i.e. 17.5.2013.
(ii) Mere submission of application does not confer any right to the candidate for
being called for interview.
(iii) A candidate should submit only one application for one post. In case
candidate wants to apply for more than one post then he/she should apply
separately for each post.
(iv) ESIC reserves the right to decide about the rejection or otherwise in respect of
applications received Incomplete, unsigned, applications received without the
certified copies of essential documents in support of age, educational
qualification, experience, category etc.
(v) Wrong declarations/submission of false information or any other action
contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.
(vi) Only system generated hard copy of online application with unique serial
number (through website of ESIC at www.esic.nic.in ) should be submitted
along with other supporting documents up to 27.05.2013. Candidates can
generate / submit their online application up to 17.05.2013 (up to 5.00
PM). The link of making online application will not be available after 05.00
PM on 17.05.2013.
(vii) Hard copy of online applications received after the last date of receipt of Hard
Copies will not be considered.
(viii) The Corporation takes no responsibility for any delay in receipt or losses in
postal transit of any application or communication.
(ix) Before applying for the post the candidate should ensure that he / she fulfils
the eligibility criteria mentioned above. The Corporation would be free to
reject any application at any stage of selection process if the candidate is
found ineligible for the post for which he has applied.
(x) Canvassing in any form will be disqualification.
(xi) Disqualification – No person:-
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a
spouse living; or
(b) Who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with
any person; shall be eligible for appointment to the said posts. Provided that
the Director General may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under
the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage
and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the
operation of this Regulation.
Last date of receipt of online applications is 17.05.2013 upto 05:00 PM and the last
date of submission of hard copies of system generated online application (Generated
up to 17.05.2013 up to 05.00 PM) is 27.05.2013. For candidates from Assam,
Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh
Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division
of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands or
Lakshadweep, the last date for receipt of hard copy of system generated online
application (generated up to 17.05.2013 by 05.00 PM) will be 03.06.2013 for the
applications received by post only.
