Experience Requirements: Post Graduate in relevant subject with lab., experience in the relevant field Knowledge of computer applications or scientific Data Management.

1. ABBREVIATION: UR-Unreserved, SC-Scheduled Caste, ST- Scheduled Tribe, OBC – Other Backward Classes, PWD – Persons with Disabilities, HH- Hearing Impaired.
2. Age relaxation: As per GOI rules in accordance with Government of India (Central Government) from time to time applicable to in-service candidates also. Crucial date of calculating the age will be 1st April 2013.
3. Candidates belong to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer) and PWD should furnish their latest certificates (Caste/PWD) in the prescribed format as per GOI instructions, failing which their applications will not be considered. (Age relaxation will be allowed to the reserved candidate for the posts earmarked under reserved quota only).
4. Those working in Central/State Govt. / public sector undertaking / Government funded organization etc., should submit their applications THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL.
5. Pay & other allowances are as admissible as per ICMR Rules. Benefits of new restructured defined contributory pension system are admissible as per the provision contained in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs (ECB & PR Division), Notification No.5/7/2003-ECB & PR dated 22-12-2003 effective from 01-01-2004.
6. Candidates working (as on date of the notification) on Long Term projects in ICMR Institutes / Centres will be given “ONE TIME” age relaxation.
7. Educational qualifications and experience should be from a recognized Board / Organization / Institute of repute. Experience will count after acquiring the prescribed essential qualifications.
8. Separate application should be submitted for each post and each category.
9. Pay fixation to in-service candidates will be as per the ICMR/ GOI rules from time to time.
10. The Director of the Institute reserve the right to reject the applications or to cancel the notification without assigning any reasons thereof. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Test / Interview and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
11. Any canvassing by or behalf of the candidates or to trying political or other outside influence with regard to selection / recruitment shall be a disqualification.

The application along with a DEMAND DRAFT / IPO of Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of “ Director, NIN, Hyderabad” along with attested copy of certificate in support of Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications, Caste and Experience etc and application should reach the Director, National Institute of Nutrition, Jamai Osmania Post, Hyderabad – 500 007 on or before last date i.e. . SC, ST, PWD and Women candidates are exempted from payment of Rs.100/-. ICMR employees are not exempted from the payment. Envelop should be superscript with serial no and post applied for. NOTE:
1. Our earlier notification bearing No. Emp/Notification No.NIN/T&E/2/2012-13, dated 16-08-2012 stands cancelled due to administrative reasons. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
2. Application should be submitted in the prescribed format only. In complete/ late or without demand draft applications will straight away be rejected. The Director, NIN reserves the right to accept or reject any / all the applications. Since it is not possible to call all the eligible candidates. Only short listed candidates will be called for written test / interview. The vacancies shown are tentative and may vary. No enquiry or correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
