Applications are invited from eligible Indian nationals for filling up the post of Library & Information Officer in
the Sangeet Natak Akademi on direct recruitment/deputation basis as per the details given below:-
Library & Information Officer – one post in the pay band of PB-3-15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.6600/-
(approx. monthly emoluments Rs.50,000)
Essential Qualification:
(a) Master’s degree in Library Science from a recognized university;
(b) Minimum 5 years experience as a Librarian in a Library of standing in the scale of Rs.15600-39100 with
Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Desirable:
(a) Understanding and knowledge of performing arts;
(b) Familiarity with computer applications
Age Limit:
Between 35-45 years. Relaxable in exceptional cases and as per Government of India Rules.
General Information/Instructions:
Application on plain paper duly typed giving full particulars such as, age/date of birth, educational
qualification, whether SC/ST/OBC, experience together with a recent passport size photograph and attested
copies of certificates/testimonials along with declaration as given in the format of the application addressed
