Applications are invited from qualified candidates for appointment to the post of Registrar in the University of Kerala.
Pay Band of : R. 37,400 – 67,000 with AGP of R. 10,000
Qualifications
A first or second class Master's Degree or equivalent qualification, about 5 years teaching experience at University level and about 5 years administrative experience in a responsible post, including management of staff in a University or College or Education Department or similar Institutions (Academic qualification, age and experience relaxable in the case of candidates otherwise highly qualified).
Age
Not less than 40 years and not more than 50 years as on 01.01.2013 but relaxable in the case of those in University Service and usual relaxation in the upper age limit shall be allowed in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC Communities.
Cost of Application form : R. 350/-
Registration Fee : R. 1000/- (R. 250/- for SC/ST)
Mode of remittance
a.
Cost of application form and registration fee remitted by DD drawn from the State Bank of India/State Bank of Travancore/District Co-operative Banks in favour of “The Finance Officer, University of Kerala”, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
b.
Postal Orders, Money Orders, Cheques and Demand Drafts from other Banks and DD drawn on SBT, Kariavattom Branch will not be accepted.
c.
Remittance towards the cost of application form and registration fee will also be accepted in cash by Chalan at the Kerala University Cash Counter, University Buildings, Thiruvananthapuram and also at the
Friends Centre (Janasevanakendram) at Palayam.
Application forms and other details can be downloaded from the
University website www.keralauniversity.ac.in.
Completed application together with the prescribed Registration Fee in
the form of a chalan receipt/DD, attested copies of certificates, testimonials etc
should reach the Deputy Registrar (Admn.I), University of Kerala,
Thiruvananthapuram on or before 30th April 2013.
Candidates who are employed should forward their application through
proper channel.
Candidates if required should appear for an interview at
Thiruvananthapuram at their own expenses.
