Pay Scale	1. PAY SCALE Rs.15,600-39,100/- PB-3 Rs. 6,600/- Grade Pay Total emoluments excluding T.A. HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs.43,602/-p.m. approximately, including DA @72 per cent.
Age	AGE Not exceeding 40 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central / UT Govt. servants upto five years as per the instructions issued by the Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualificaiton (s)	A EDUCATIONAL Master’s Degree in Physics / Biophysics / Forensic Science with Physics as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University or equivalent . B EXPERIENCE Seven years experience of analytical method and research therein in the field of Physics. No other Masters Degree will be treated as equivalent to those mentioned above, specifically.
Desirable Qualificaiton (s)	Experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory Note The qualifications are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Duty(ies)	Crime Scene Management, Crime Case Examination, giving evidences in the Courts of Law under Section 293 of Cr.PC, providing guidance to the junior scientific staff for case analysis, RD activities on Forensic Activities and imparting training in their respective field of forensic specialization to the trainees from different investigating agencies / forensic science labs and other organizations.
Probation	ONE YEAR
Head Quarter	HYDERABAD / KOLKATA / CHANDIGARH / BHOPAL/ PUNE / GUWAHATI
Other Details	General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Any Other Conditions	The officer may be required to serve in any part of India.
