Vacancies
Applications are invited on or before 18.3.2013 upto 5.00 p.m. from the eligible
candidates for filling up the following vacant posts on Regular/contract basis in the
University & its constituent colleges.
1. Radiotherapy Technician-5 (Rs.10300-34800+3600G.P)
Qualification:
(i) 10+2 or its equivalent from recognized Board/University/ Institution with
Science.
(ii) B.Sc.(Radiotherapy) from a recognized institution of Health Science.
2.Operation Theatre Assistant 13 ( Consolidated pay Rs. 11,000/-p.m)
Qualification:
i) 10+2 or its equivalent from recognized Board/University/ Institution with
Science
ii) Diploma in Operation Theatre (OT) from a recognized institution.
iii) Preference will be given to the candidates having +2 (Medical Stream) and
B.Sc. in the relevant field.
3.Anesthesia Technician-5 ( Consolidated pay Rs.10000-p.m & Rs.12,500/-p.m)
Qualifications:
i) Matric or its equivalent from recognized Board/University/ Institution
with Science
ii) Diploma in Anesthesia from a recognized institution.
iii) Preference will be given to the candidates having +2 (Medical Stream)
and B.Sc. in the relevant field.
4.Pharmacist -2 ( Consolidated pay Rs. 12500/-p.m)
Qualification: B.Pharmacy, Candidates having qualification of M.Pharmacy will be
preferred.
5. Data Entry Operator-20 (Consolidated pay Rs. 10,000/-p.m)
Qualification
i) Graduate 2nd class in any stream with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer
Applications from recognized University.
ii) Typing speed of 8000 key depressions per hour.
Registrar
General terms and conditions:
1. The applicant must enclose demand draft of Rs Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- SC/ST)
Non-refundable in favour of The Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health
Sciences, Faridkot payable at Faridkot
2. The University has right to increase or decrease the number of posts at any
stage without citing any reason or not to fill any or all the posts.
3. It is not obligatory to call every candidate for interview who fulfills the
prescribed qualification.
4. The applicants (General Category) applying for these posts should not be
above 37 years of age on the last date of receipt of application form .
Relaxation in upper age for SC/BC candidate is 5 years and for Physical
Handicapped is 10 years.
5. The Applicant must have passed Punjabi or its equivalent examination upto
Matric level.
6. The Application on prescribed proforma must accompany self attested
copies of certificates for proof of date of birth, marks sheet, degree,
experience etc
7. Last date and time of receipt of application form at the office of the
Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Sadiq Road, Faridkot is
18.3.2013 upto 5pm.
8. The applications received without a valid bank draft or without legible
copies of documents or apparently containing incomplete information and
those received after prescribed date & time will be summarily rejected.
9. Applicant must possess the requisite qualification by the last date of receipt
of application.
10. Candidates already in service must route their application Through Proper
Channel.
11. Separate application/proforma be used for each post.
