Pay Scale	PAY SCALE Rs.9,300-34,800/- PB-2 plus Rs. 4,800/- Grade Pay 72 per cent Rs.24,252/- Total emoluments excluding T.A. HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 24,252/-p.m. approximately
Age	AGE Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Tribes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualificaiton (s)	A. EDUCATIONAL i Master’s Degree in Mathematics/Statistics or Mathematical Statistics/Electronics/Computer Science from a recognized University or equivalent. ii Diploma /Interpretership Bhutanese. B. EXPERIENCE Two years’ research experience in Mathematics or Mathematical Statistics/Computer programming or in work involving application on Theory of Numbers or Groups. Note-I The qualifications are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Note-II The qualification regarding experience are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes, if at any stage of selection, the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them. DESIRABLE
Desirable Qualificaiton (s)
Duty(ies)	• Organizing and carrying out operational research activities. • Identifying new problems for research and initiating expeditious study. • Guidance and supervision of staff. • Study of basic research problems. • Safe custody and proper disposal of all classified documents. • Any other task of technical or administrative nature.
Probation	Two Years
Head Quarter	DELHI/NEW DELHI with all India Service liability.
Other Details	General Central Service, Group B’, Gazetted Non- Ministerial. The post is permanent.
