1. Staff Nurse: 20 posts
2. Pharmacist: 01 post

Age Limit: Candidates age must be counted according to the norms prescribed by the State Govt. of Odisha, relaxation will be made as per rule.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess B.Sc Nursing or General Nursing & Midwifery Examination from Govt/Govt. recognized institution, must have registered their name in the Odisha Nursing Council for Staff Nurse posts, Diploma in Pharmacy along with registration in the Odisha Nursing Council for Pharmacist posts.

Selection Process: Selection of the posts will be made as per the guideline of Government.

How to Apply: Candidates have to apply in prescribed format as shown in the notification. Fill the application affix photograph, attach relevant documentary proofs in supporting to age, caste,, residential certificate, educational certificates and any other relevant document duly attested by the gazette officer along with 02 self addressed envelopes must be sent to the Superintendent, SVP Post Graduate Institute of Pediatrics, P.O. ADVERTISEMENT FOR APPOINMENT/ENGAGEMNT OF STAFF NURSES AND PHARMACIST ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS IN SVP PGIP (SISHU BHAWAN), CUTTACK UNDER HEALTH AND F.W. DEPTT., GOVT. OF ODISHA, BHUBANESWAR.

                Applications are invited from eligible candidates for contractual appointment/engagement to the posts mentioned below:-

A)     STAFF NURSE

Total number of Post – 20 (ST-13, SC-6, SEBC-1)

In case suitable candidates from the reserved categories are not available, the said vacancies shall be filled up by the general category in view of exigencies

B)      PHARMACIST

Total number of Post – 1 (ST)

QUALIFICATION:

A)     STAFF NURSE

i.        Candidates must have passed B.Sc Nursing or General Nursing & Midwifery Examination from Govt./Govt. recognized institution.

ii.      Must have registered their name in the Odisha Nursing Council.

B)      PHARMACIST

i.        Candidates must have Diploma in Pharmacy.

ii.      Must have registered their name in the Odisha Pharmacy Council.

AGE LIMIT:  As per the norms prescribed by the State Govt. of Odisha, relaxation will be made as per rule.

SALARY:       Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 5,200/- per month for both the contractual Staff Nurses and Pharmacist.

GENERAL CONDITION:

1.       The candidates have to apply to the Superintendent, SVP Post Graduate Institute of Pediatrics, P.O.: Chandin chowk, Cuttack-753002 by Regd. Post/Speed Post only. The application should reach within 15 days from the date of publication of advertisement. No application will be entertained beyond of that date.

2.       Selection of Staff Nurses will be made as per the guideline of Govt. communicated vide letter no. 18623/H dated 20.07.2007 (All Odisha Basis).

3.       Selection of Pharmacist will be made as per the guideline issued by the Govt. in letter no. 33161/H dated 02.11.2006. Candidate belonging to Cuttack District will be given priority and in case of non-availability of candidate, other district will be considered.

4.       Reservation of post will be filled up as per the prescribed norms of Govt. (as per 80 points roster and ORV Act.).

5.       Candidate appointed on contractual basis will not claim for inter district or medical college transfer and also not claim any Govt. post/regular appointment in future.

6.       The authority reserves the right to reject/accept/cancel any application without assigning any reason thereof if it is found incorrect or false or incomplete.

7.       Documents required:

(A)   Staff Nurses : The candidates are required to enclose their educational certificate with mark sheets of HSC, +2 & B.Sc. Nursing / General Nursing and Midwifery, registration document (Odisha Nursing Council), two passport size photographs, caste certificate, residential certificate and any other relevant document (true copy) duly attested by the Gazette Officer along with filled up application form. Two nos. of self addressed stamped envelope should be attached with the application (for registered post).

(B)   Pharmacist : The candidates should submit their HSC Certificate, diploma in pharmacy certificate along with mark sheet, registration document (Odisha Pharmacy Council), two passport size photographs, caste certificate, residential certificate and any other relevant document (true copy) duly attested by the Gazette Officer along with filled up application form. Two nos. of self addressed stamped envelope should be attached with the application (for registered post).
