1          Senior Administrative Officer – General Administration – 1 post
Upper Age Limit:Not exceeding 45 years
Qualification:Post-graduate Degree in any discipline with Post Graduate Diploma in Management OR Post-graduate in Public Administration or Post-graduate Degree in Management from recognized universities/institutions, with consistently good academic record.
Experience:At least 10 years of post-qualification administrative experience in a government department or reputed Management Education Institute / University / College / commercial organization of national/international repute, out of which at least 5 years in the level of Administrative Officer. Relevant experience in any Government organization or an IIM / IIT and other institutes of international repute in the level of Grade Pay Rs.5400 preferred.
Job Profile: To assist in planning and implementing activities related to administration in terms of existing and upcoming facilities of the Institute. In-charge of day-to-day administration and will facilitate smooth functioning of the Institute. To provide support to faculty in academic activities. To function with operational guidance of Chief Administrative Officer and will report to him.
Salary: Initially, consolidated Salary will be fixed appropriately in the Pay Band: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 and Grade Pay Rs.6600. Salary will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate, and a higher start in the Pay Band may be considered for a deserving candidate.

2          Executive Engineer – Campus Development & Maintenance – 1 post
Upper Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years
Qualification: BE/BTech (minimum second class) (OR) ME/MTech in Civil Engineering with a certificate/diploma in CAD/CAM & Automated Project Management Systems from recognized universities/institutions. Should have consistently good academic record. In addition, should have sound knowledge in electrical engineering.
Experience: At least 10 years of post-qualification experience for candidates with BE/BTech (Second class) and at least 8 years of post-qualification experience for candidates with ME/MTech in the relevant field in a government department or reputed Management Education Institute / University / College / commercial organization of national/international repute, out of which at least 5 years in the level of Assistant Engineer. Should be familiar with Government/CPWD rules.  Experience in buildings maintenance of academic institutes like IIM / IIT and other institutes of international repute in the level of Assistant Engineer (Grade Pay Rs.5400) preferred.
Job Profile: Will be responsible for day-to-day management of project site related activities of the permanent campus. Will be in-charge of the entire Estate and Maintenance Department. Shall be responsible for the maintenance of the present campus.

3          Internal Auditor – 1 post
Upper Age Limit:Not exceeding 40 years
Qualification:Graduate degree in Commerce with at least 50% marks from a recognized university/institution with consistently good academic record. Should have passed Intermediate in CA / ICWA or a pass in SAS / SOGE conducted by IA & AD. Preference will be given to serving / retired officials in the rank of AOs/SAOs of IA & AD.
Experience:At least 8 years of experience in auditing field preferably in Government / Government Institutions
Job Profile:To audit the transactions pertaining to various activities of the Institute, to pre-audit all work bills relating to upcoming main campus after ensuring their conformity with the rules and regulations and the terms and conditions of the contract to be executed with the architect, PMC, other external work contracts etc; and to assist the various committees (Purchase, IT etc).
Salary: Initially, consolidated Salary will be fixed appropriately in the Pay Band: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 and Grade Pay Rs.5400. Salary will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate.

4          Junior Administrative Officer for Chennai Centre of IIM Trichy – 1 post
Upper Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years
Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized university / institution with consistently good academic record and ability to supervise office and other administrative works. PG degree/diploma in Personnel Management is desirable.
Experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience in supervisory and executive functions in Administration in a government department or reputed Management Education Institute / University / College / commercial organization of national/international repute. Knowledge in Library administration and experience in an IIM / IIT / and any other institutes of international repute will be preferred.
Job Profile: To be placed at our Chennai Centre. Will be responsible for all the academic and administrative activities of the Centre such as planning and carrying out activities related to academic administration, providing support to faculty in academic activities and facilitate smooth functioning of the Centre
Salary: Initially, consolidated salary will be fixed appropriately in the Pay Band: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 and Grade Pay Rs.4800

5          Stores & Purchase Officer – 1 post
Upper Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years
Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized university / institution with consistently good academic record and ability to supervise office work. PG degree/diploma in materials management is desirable.
Experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience in supervisory and executive functions in Stores and Purchase in a government department or reputed Management Education Institute / University / College / commercial organization of national/international repute. Experience in an IIM / IIT / and any other institutes of international repute will be preferred.
Job Profile: To attend the functions of Purchase, Stores, Issues, Asset Management, and General Administration.

6          Office Assistant (Accounts) – 1 post
Upper Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years
Qualification: Graduate degree in commerce with at least 50% marks from a recognized university / institution with consistently good academic record. Certificate/Diploma in Tally accounting system is essential and prerequisite.
Experience:At least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of Accounting and Tally operations at the level of Junior Accountant or above in a large Private Sector industry/Government/Public Sector Undertaking. Experience in an IIM / IIT / any other Institute of international repute will be preferred.
Job Profile:To assist Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer in managing the accounting through Tally and any other accounting software programme, auditing, budgeting, financial and other related activities of the Institute.

7          Junior Personal Assistant – 6 posts (1 post reserved for OBC & 1 post for PH)

Qualification:Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized university / institution with consistently good academic record. Should have a minimum speed of 60 WPM in English stenography and 40 WPM in English typing, and have sound knowledge of basic computer operations like MS Office, Outlook Internet etc. Diploma in Secretarial/Commercial Practice from any recognized Institute preferred.
Experience:At least 3 years’ experience in secretarial and office work in a reputed organization / Government Department.

10        Teaching Assistant – 3 posts
Upper Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years
Qualification and Experience: Post-graduate degree in Management with specialization in HR/Marketing/Finance/Strategy etc with two years’ experience either in academics or industry.
Job Profile: Toassist the faculty in preparing course outline, identifying and collecting reading material (from libraries and other sources), developing teaching notes, grading of class participation, grading of quizzes, examinations, assignments, etc. and to assist the faculty in their research work. They shall also be responsible for coordinating with programmes for arranging for exams / quizzes, distribution of course material and perform any other related activities of the Institute.
Salary: Suitable consolidated salary will be fixed based on qualification and experience.
Term of Appointment:Purely on contract basis for a specific period of two years.

NOTE:
          1        Separate application for each post should be submitted.
2         For the post of Junior Personal Assistant, Junior Assistant (Audit) and Junior Assistant under Sl.No.7, 8 & 9 respectively, Application Form-II should be filled. For other posts, Application Form-I should be filled.

4        For posts under Sl.No.1, 2 & 3, candidates retired recently from Central Government or Central Autonomous services, may also be considered for contractual appointment, if found suitable.
5        Except for the post of Teaching Assistant under Sl.No.10, appointments for all the posts will be initially on contract basis and may be regularized at the sole discretion of the Institute, based on the performance.
6        The Director, IIM Tiruchirappalli may relax all or any of the requirements related to age, qualification and experience in exceptional and deserving cases.

1        Age is determined as on the closing date for receipt of application. Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC/PWD (Persons with Disabilities)/Ex-Servicemen candidates as per existing Central Government rules.
