NIRD is a premier Institute providing training, research and consultancy activities in the field of rural development. The Institute proposes to engage services of Project Assistants on short term contract basis for ongoing projects/ activities of its various centres. The requirement in respect of qualifications, experience, age, remuneration, etc. are detailed below -
I. Project Assistants -
i) No. of Posts - Two (2 Nos.). It may increase or decrease as per requirement.
ii) Educational Qualification -
a) Graduation in any of social sciences with Degree or PG Diploma Degree in computer with thorough knowledge in MS office
OR
Graduation in computer science
b) Proficiency in typing, data entry and programming.
Preference will be given to candidates having knowledge of SPSS and other relevant computer based statistical applications and shorthand.
c) Experience : Two years experience in relevant area in any Government organization or major private organization.
d) Age : Below 30 years as on 23.03.2013.. Relaxation in case of candidates of SC/ST/ OBC/ Ex- servicemen can be considered, as per Govt. of India norms.
iii) Consolidated Remuneration : Rs.13,500/- p.m.
2. Nature of engagement: - The engagement is purely on temporary basis on contract which will be initially for a period of one year or duration of the project, whichever is earlier. Extension will be based on performance and requirement of the Institute/ Project under which their services will be utilised.
3. Applications invited are short term project positions on contract. The positions offered are on temporary basis and do not envisage any form of regular appointment at NIRD in future.
4. Interested candidates may report for " Walk-in-Interview" by 10.30 AM on 23.03.2013 (Saturday) at Administration Block, NIRD, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. They must carry their bio-data in the prescribed form given below, copies of relevant documents/ certificates relating to qualifications and work experience with original documents ready for verification and a passport size photograph. They must register themselves for walk in interview positively by 10.30 am and candidates reporting after 10.30 AM or not having credentials or eligibility will not be considered.
5. Interview will commence from 11.00 AM on 23.03.2013. In case of large number of candidates turning up for walk in interview, a written test at short notice on the subject matter can be considered to shortlist the candidates for interview. Candidates are advised to go through the details mentioned above carefully before reporting for Walk-in-Interview.
