Applications are invited for the following positions in the Department of Electrical Engineering under two funded projects: (1) Green Sensor Network for Air Quality Support (GENIUS), and (2) Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) – Healthcare. Each position has multiple vacancies.

Position 1
Name of the Position (depending on qualification and experience): Project Assistant/Senior Project Assistant
Minimum Qualification: MSc (or equivalent) in Statistics/Mathematics
Emoluments: Rs. 13,500- 17,100 per month/Rs. 14,000-20,000 per month
Duration of appointment: 1 year (Subsequent extension based on performance)
Expected skills: Strong knowledge in the areas of hypothesis testing, model selection, model fitting, parametric and nonparametric estimation, algebra/linear algebra, fuzzy logic, compressive sensing.
Position 2
Name of the Position (depending on qualification and experience): Project Associate/Project Officer
Minimum Qualification: MTech (or equivalent) in Communication and Signal Processing or a related discipline
Emoluments: Rs. 18,000- 24,000 per month/Rs. 25,000-32,000 per month
Duration of appointment: 1 year (Subsequent extension based on performance)
Expected skills: Strong knowledge in the areas of signal processing, biomedical signal processing, signal representation, signal compression, signal classification, digital communication, wireless communication, wireless sensor networks, estimation and detection theory, circuit design, PCB design, proficiency in MATLAB programming.
Position 3
Name of the Position (depending on qualification and experience): Project Technician/Senior Project Technician
Minimum Qualification: MCA or equivalent
Emoluments: Rs. 7,000-13,500 per month/Rs. 9,000-16,000 per month
Duration of appointment: 1 year (Subsequent extension based on performance)
Expected skills: Strong knowledge of programming languages including Java and C++, mobile OS and platforms, Android app development, knowledge of socket programming is a plus.
