A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 22nd March, 2013 at 11.00 A.M. in the
Microbiology Seminar Room, Centenary Building of Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T.
Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700 054 for one position each of
i) Junior Research Fellow & ii) Laboratory Assistant in a DBT-NER sponsored
twinning project entitled, "Exploration of Lichens from Barak Valley of Southern
Assam and Arunachal Pradesh (North East India) and Isolation of Phytochemicals and
Bioprospecting of some selected Lichens species", under the guidance of Dr.
Nripendranath Mandal, Division of Molecular Medicine. The project is tenable upto
22.04.2015. Details of qualification, fellowship, age etc. are as follows.
Essential Qualification : i) For J.R.F.- M.Sc. Degree in Life Science /
Chemistry with NET / GATE qualification & ii) For Lab. Asstt.- Passed Class-
VIII.
Desirable Qualification : i) For J.R.F.- Candidates interested to work
in the areas of Molecular Biology and Cell Biology & ii) For Lab. Asstt.-
More than two years experience in research laboratory, as helping hand.
Fellowship / Remuneration : for i) Rs.16,000/-p.m. plus admissible
H.R.A. and for ii) Rs.8,000/-p.m. (fixed).
Age : i) For J.R.F.- Below 28 years (relaxable in case of
SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule) & ii) For Lab. Asstt.-
Below 32 years (relaxable in case of extra-ordinary experienced candidates).
