IIITM Kerala Recruitment 2013 – Walk in for Field Supervisor, Field Asst Posts: Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management – Kerala (IIITMK) is set up in 2000 by the Government of Kerala to be the State’s Premier Institute in Teaching and Research of Information Technology and related disciplines. It has issued notification for the recruitment of 08 Posts of Field Supervisor, Field Asst (Agriculture) under Pest Surveillance Project to be implemented on Kasargod district. 1.Field Supervisor (Agriculture): 01 Post
2. Field Assistants (Agriculture): 07 Post

Educational Qualifications: Candidates should possess B.Sc Degree in Agriculture for post 1 and VHSC-Agriculture for Post 2 with desired experience as per the post.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in written test and interview.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may attend for written test and interview along with updated resume and original certificates at College of Agriculture, Padannakkad, Kasargod on 19-03-2013.

WALK IN TEST AND INTERVIEW FOR THE POST OF FIELD SUPERVISOR AND FIELD ASSISTANTS (AGRICULTURE) ON CONTRACT BASIS UNDER PEST SURVEILANCE PROJECT AT KASARGOD DISTRICT
IIITM-K invites the applications from suitable candidates for the post of Field Supervisor and Field Assistants (Agriculture) under Pest Surveillance Project to be implemented on Kasargod district. The appointment will be purely on contract basis for a period of one year. The selected candidates will have to work anywhere in Kasargod district.
1. Field Supervisor (Agriculture)
Total No. of posts : 1
Location – Kasargod district
Essential Qualification: BSc Degree in Agriculture
Experience: Minimum One-year experience in agricultural extension work. The Agricultural Officers who are retired from the Govt. service over the last 5 years can also apply. For such candidates, degree in Agriculture is not essential.
Nature of Job: The selected candidate has to travel extensively in Kasargod district (15 panchayaths) and coordinate the project activities as per the plan.
Salary: Rs. 20, 000 per month (Consolidated)
Selection: Based on Interview
2. Field Assistants (Agriculture)
Total No. of posts : 7
Location – Kasargod district
Essential Qualification : VHSC - Agriculture
Salary : Rs. 8000 per month + Rs. 5000 as Travel Allowance

Experience: 1 year of experience is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates those who have completed agriculture finishing school programme. The Agricultural assistants who have retired from the service during the last 3 years can also apply. For such candidates, VHSC qualification is not essential.
Nature of Job: The selected candidates have to travel extensively in various panchayaths of Kasargod district. Each Field Assistant will be responsible for coordinating the work of two panchayaths.
The selection of Field Assistant will be based on written test and Interview. For the post of Field Supervisor, the Selection will be based on interview.
Venue for test and Interview - College of Agriculture, Padannakkad, Kasargod
Date of Written test: 19-03- 2013
The qualified candidates will be called for interview on the same day.
The interested candidates may attend the written test and bring the relevant copies with original certificate to the venue.
