Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have M.Sc. (Statistics/Applied Statistics/Bio-Statistics) degree with a minimum of 55% marks with Ph.D. in Statistics and minimum of five years teaching and research experience.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in interview

CONSULTANTS FOR DISCIPLINE OF STATISTICS

The School of Sciences of IGNOU wishes to appoint two Consultants in Statistics. The candidates must have M.Sc. (Statistics/Applied Statistics/Bio-Statistics) degree with a minimum of 55% marks with Ph.D. in Statistics and minimum of five years teaching and research experience. The appointment shall be initially for a period of six months and may be extended six months basis upto two years. The consolidated remuneration shall be Rs. 22,500 - 30,000 per month.

The nature of work at IGNOU involves development of self-learning study materials for the programmes at the undergraduate as well as post-graduate levels.
