Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18 to 40 years for Senior Research Fellow/ Junior Research Fellow and Research Fellow at Sr. No. 1, 2 & 4 to 7 posts, for Sr. No. 3 posts candidates age must be between 18 to 40 years for women, 18 to 35 for men. Age relaxations will be extended as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess M.Sc. in Mycology and Plant Pathology/ Plant Pathology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology for Sr. No. 1 post, M.Sc./ Ph.D in Food Technology/ Post Harvest Technology (F&V)/ Food Science & Nutrition/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology with NET for Sr. No. 2 posts, M.Sc in Entomology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology for Sr. No. 3 posts, M Sc. in FST/PHT/ Fruit Science/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Plant pathology/ Entomology with NET for Sr. No. 4 posts, M Sc. in Food Science and Technology/ Food Technology/ Post Harvest Technology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/any other allied discipline with NET for Sr. No. 5 posts, M.Sc in Pomology/ Fruit Science/ Horticulture/ Agriculture/ Botany / Biotechnology for SR. & Conditions
1. The applicant must be a Citizen of India.
2. Candidate should be 18 years to 40 years at the time of appointment for Senior
Research Fellow/Junior Research Fellow and Research Fellow at Sr
No. 1 to 6 only. The above age limits are relax able for SC, ST &
OBC candidates as per Govt. of India, norms.
3 Candidate should be 18 years to 35 years for men and 18 years to 40 years for women at
the time of appointment for SRF’s at Sr
No. 7only. The above age
limits are relaxable for SC, ST,& OBC candidates as per Govt. of India,
norms.
4. Photocopy of Provisional Degree Certificate
(PDC) is necessary with the application otherwise application form will be
rejected.
5. The appointments on these posts will be
made at a fixed salary, purely temporary basis on “co-terminus basis with the
project concerned”. The candidates
applying for these posts shall have no claim for their regularization against
the said posts.
6. Applicants
already working in any project should send their application form through their
PI/HOD.
7.
Where any vacancy can not be filled up due to non-availability of a
person with physical disability or, for any other sufficient reason, such
vacancy shall be filled up by appointment of person other than a person with
physical disability.
8. The number of posts may vary depending upon
the need of the University.
9. A candidate applying for more than one post
should send a separate application form along with the requisite processing fee
for each post/position.
10. Any further information about qualifications
or job requirements or date of interview can be had from the office of the
Directorate of Research.
11. Incomplete application or those received after
the last date will not be entertained and will be rejected straightway.
12. The University reserves the right not to fill
