Post Description  Pay Scale   Rs. 15600-39100 plus 5400GP plus NPA -25 per cent of Basic plus GP    Age   Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto five years as per instructions /orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. For age concession applicable to some other categories of applicants, please see relevant paras of the ‘Instructions and Additional Information to candidates for Recruitment by Selection.’ Note 1 Relaxable for Govt. servants upto five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.    Essential Qualificaiton (s)   A. EDUCATIONAL i A recognized Medical qualification included in the first or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule other than Licentiate qualification to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Holders of Medical qualification included in Part II of the Third Schedule to the said Act should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub section 3 of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Act 1956. ii Completion of compulsory rotating internship. iii Post Graduate Medical Qualification in Anaesthesia. iv One year experience in Anaesthesia in case of Post Graduate Degree holder and three years in case of Post Graduate Diploma holder. Note 1. The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the UPSC in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.    Desirable Qualificaiton (s)      Duty(ies)   He/She will give anaesthesia to all cases undergoing tuballigation operation or any operation in connection with the Family Welfare Programme. He/She will also have to do any other work assigned by the officer-in-charge of the Post Partum Programme    Probation   01 Year.    Head Quarter   Armed Forces Medical College, Pune with all India liability.    Other Details   General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-ministerial. The post is permanent.    Any Other Conditions   The officer will not be allowed private practice of any kind whatsoever, including consultation and laboratory practice.
