North Eastern Space Applications Centre, Umiam a Research & Development Organization functioning under the Department of Space, invites applications for following posts of Research Scientists on temporary basis :

How to apply:
As per the format at Annexure-I
The completed applications supported by attested copies of all the certificates and testimonials
should reach the Administrative Officer, North Eastern Space Applications Centre, Umiam-
793103, Meghalaya latest by 31.03.2013 The applications should be sent in a cover
superscribed “Application for the Fellowship of “_________________”, Post Code “_________”,
ADVERTISEMENT NO. NESAC/01/2013 dated 21.02.2013 Candidates are advised to send
their applications by registered post/speed post on their own interest.
Applications to be supported by “No Objection Certificate” from the employer concerned, by
those already in employment under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or
Autonomous Bodies, duly indicating the name on the reverse of the NOC and the same may be
sent to Administrative Officer, NESAC, Umiam-793103, Meghalaya.
General Conditions:
• The number of posts notified are provisional and may vary depending upon actual
requirement.
• NESAC/DOS reserves the right not to fill up all or any of the posts, if it so decides.
• These Research Scientist positions are purely on temporary basis for a maximum period of
three years for the Project duration. It may be noted that the Research Scientist positions
do not carry any claim whatsoever for regular appointments in NESAC/DOS.
• Candidates called for interview will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof
of details furnished in their applications alongwith a set of attested Xerox copies at the time
of interview. In case any information furnished in the application is found to be wrong or
false, the candidate will not be interviewed.
• The selected candidates may likely be posted in NESAC, Umiam, Meghalaya. However the
NESAC reserves the right to post the candidates in any of the Centres/Units of the
Department of Space situated anywhere in India as and when required.
• Only Indian Nationals should apply.
• Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.
• No interim correspondence will be entertained.
• GOVERNMENT STRIVES TO HAVE A WORKFORCE WHICH REFLECTS GENDER
BALANCE AND WOMEN CANDIDATES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.
