Pay Scale: Rs. 16,000/- + 20% HRA for CSIR/UGC NET qualified candidates; Rs. 12,000/- + 20% HRA for others.

Educational Requirements: Consistent, excellent academic record with First class Masters Degree in Microbiology/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology with CSIR/UGC/NET qualification. Those candidate without CSIR/UGC NET also can apply; however, if such a candidate is selected, the emolument will be as per the DST/CSIR norms. The project involves handling of virulent laboratory strain of M.tuberculosis. The candidate must be willing to work under strict bio-safety containment facilities.

Experience Requirements: Experience in handling M. tuberculosis

The appointment is subject to yearly assessment by a review committee and poor performance can lead to discontinuation of appointment. Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with end of the project.
